Somsak over Monshipour in France, Saman Sorjaturong over Chiquita Gonzalez in a stunner at the Great Western Forum in Los Angeles, Chartchai Chionoi over Walter McGowan in London, but Thai wins in big fights overseas are few and far between (unless you count Thais winning in Japan, of course). .... The Thai Prawet was unlucky to have to settle for a draw with Jose Miguel Cotto in Puerto Rico (Prawet seemed to win that fight)... struggling to think of any others off the top of my head.
Don't forget Sot Chitalada coming to Britain and stopping Charlie Magri when he only had about 7 fights to his credit.

Hey all,

My plays for this weekend:

Poonsawat - big. Somehow I am not too worried about this weight talk. I got burned by Dunne over Cordoba but I don't see it happening again. Dunne gets broken down to the body, and then starched to the head. Mid round KO for Poon.

K.Martinez +300 - medium. I really don't see why the odds are so wide here. Ndlovu has already proven himself a notch below world class. Ndlovu is Dunne-like, a good boxer but just a bit fragile. Fightwriter called him 'vulnerable' and I think this is right, so vulnerable that Martinez walks through him. I would make the S.African only the slightest of favorites due to homefield, but I think Kiko takes him out.

J.Chavez +215 small. To me, this is another pick'em fight. Diaz hasn't fought since being brutalized by Pacquiao. Chavez has been recently active, but whether is heart is still completely in it I'm not sure. I think Chavez is more skilled however, and over 10 rounds stands a good chance of outboxing willing but limited Diaz

If all goes well, especially with Poonsawat, then I'm going to put a small wager on Mora. I think the odds on this one are off, and would only make Banks a small favorite. The guy was chinny at Cruiser, and now goes to heavy. Banks was neither a cruiser champ, and had a few close calls. Mora is a slow plodder no doubt, and over 10 Banks could outbox him, but for the price I think that there is a reasonable chance that Mora bullies, tires, and KO's Banks.

Good luck all

Sound logic on all bets..good luck!

My plays:

Poontang +120, Dunne is chinny and this guy fights all 12 rds with pressure. I think at some pt he will catch Dunne and knock him out. I think Dunne will win it if he can remain on his feet over 12.

Pascal -1000, doesn't take rocket science to pick this one and it would be the upset of the yr if the old man pulled it off. I layed the wood to make a few hund. The line has moved to at least -2000.

Aereola itd +700, small wager for me but I think he's live and no way in hell he can win a dec so I got the better # by putting it on the prop. The eastern Euro style does not handle effective agression very well and that has been shown in numerous fights....vlad/brew, vlad/sanders, tszyu/hatton, diamond/campbell, golata/anybody to name a few and Vit had some trouble with an over the hill out of shape sanders. Giive these guys room to fight and they will look like a million bucks but put some effective pressure on them and they have a tendancy to fold. Sanders was giving Vit trouble and had Vit gasping for air early. It was obvious Vit had trouble fighting when being pressured and backing up. Sanders simply didn't have the stamina to keep it up and Vit was able to gain control once Sanders tired out. IF Aereola can sustain effective pressure, he can get Vit unglued and possibly take him out around the 8th-9th. It's easier said than done to get inside that long jab of Vit but if Aereola believes in himself he can do it. Good luck!

5d has odds up now on who will WIN the ENTIRE Super Six Tourney:

Kessler +235
Abraham +240
Froch +350
Taylor +675
Ward +700
Dirrell +1200

So if anyone wants to wait out the 18 months, take a shot !

Can't imagine too many people will be betting this prop....length of time plus potential for injuries...I would rather bet fight by fight

If you are going to take a stab at who wins the tourney, might as well parlay it with Obama to be re-elected in 2012

Oganov is injured and out of the Allan Green fight next Friday
Showtime is looking at Tarvis Simms as a late replacement

I would bet every dollar I have in the world that Green turns the fight down

Green WILL NEVER fight a live body on short notice...the guy is pickier than Floyd Mayweather....

Macklin wins in round 1!!!

Beauty of a left hook!!!

I still think it was a shitty stoppage. He was decked twice but had his hands up well ahead of the count but the ref stopped it. His eyes looked glassy but I think he should have been allowed to continue.
