- - Nothing about this spot suggests to me to change things up when I am 4-1 going against Michigan when facing a team really wanting their crack at the defending Champs.

- - IMO, Michigan State is a mediocre but improving team that is coming off two huge efforts against a sloppy Iowa performance and the defending champ Big Brother. IMO an historically good Big Ten team is still undervalued and will be embracing another real test in which they are being doubted again more than anything. I don't think this storybook crashes here, that for should.

Simply put, I think any team would be facing a very stiff challenge from SMU tonight, but I will not be surprised if something of a frenzy is generated by drawing this huge November conference matchup against the country’s most hugely overachieving undefeated squad.

And Iowa wasted no time exploiting said toy. While Wisconsin and their 85th ranked run defense will have had a week to prepare for this new development, I think the immediate advantage really, really, lies with the possibilities a shifty QB opens up for new OC Tim Lester and an offense sorely lacking weapons in the passing game for several years.
