Now Kobe didn't play well offensively and it wasn't officiating alone. Pistons did play well defensively but got away with too much while Lakers were called on everything.

Kobe has cost the Lakers dearly in this series with his horribly selfish play. 2 out of every 3 Laker possessions degenerates into Kobe going 1 on 2 or 3. You think the rest of the team is going to suddenly play basketball with that going on? Guess again.

I agree with you on Kobe. Lakers need to feed Shaq the ball. Lakers will win if the feed Shaq the ball every time. Kobe always has his huge games when he scores very little in the 1q or 1h.

2 things need to happen. Shaq getting ball early and often and Kobe attacking the rim and dishing out. I will bet we will see exactly that in game 4. Kobe will take over in 2h. I am taking Lakers in game 4.

The Pistons were pushing off while they were driving to the basket and on the defensive end they were blatantly grabbing Kobe and Shaq. The officiating was terrible period. THE RULES DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO GRAB THE OPPOSING PLAYERS. You can be physical, but you can't push off the defender or grab people. That's football.

The game is done, and no more excuses are acceptable to the lakers, the mismatch goes to the other side and that's it!! I still cant beleive it, I was so funny and with hope when the young players where in the court, why?? because they fight every fvcking ball like a championship game deserves, they still are not overpaids morons trying to win more money doing nothing, or trying to win a Champ Ring doing nothing!! I feel sorry about Karl Malone injury, really not a big difference, I do not see this series like 3 positions of Detroit are better than the lakers, the reallity here is when two teams are playing each others, there are just two names, Lakers and Pistons, the Pistons are better, the Lakers arent that good like a team, I was thinking that against the Pistons that wasnt a problem but I was deadfully wrong, the real teams deserve the championships and that's it; sincerely I still have faith, just because is the last thing I will ever lose, but I do not think this lakers can come out like a team in two days, just a miracle, I still beleive the serie will end at the Sparks Center just because stats and history and thats it. Like a comment when I saw the frustration face of Kobe fighting with that Blue and red uniforms remember me when Jordan was figthing against that other great team of Detroit another machine, but the Chicago bull later beat them, and I am saying the Chicago bulls because Jordan was a great leader and also very lucky to have that role players with big heart!!

Lakers got them where they want them. Nobody would have watched or cared had they won 4 straight. Now that the world believes the Lakers will lose, let the games begin. It's about the drama. Lakers win on Sunday. Series 2-2. Lakers will lead 3-2 coming home. Kobe's going to step it up. I am so glad I hedged by big Lakers series bet. I took Pistons to win in 5 games and Pistons to win in 6 games. Still want Lakers to win cuz I am big Laker fan and I still profit if they do. However I do not lose as much if they don't. Kobe saved my a$$ with a Laker win in game 2. Otherwise I prob. would have lost half my bankroll.

i like uptempo bball as much as the next person...but watching the pistons swarm on defense is just as good!

i'm used to watching the kings run back and forth, but watching this defense make these stars look foolish is something else.

so far, its a pretty good series.

the MO town boys are definetly going to be tested today. LA will come out hungry in the early portion of the game but I doubt they can sustain it for very long. Adrenaline can only last so long and them their old, tired legs will catch up to them....then detroit pulls away in the second half ( at least this is wwhat I'm betting)

Gregg..... I ended up playing the Lakers for 3.5 units to win 5.....Wanted to at least get my original 5 units back at worst...........Looks like it was the right move so far

I was feeling like I may have made a mistake thru 3 quarters but what is amazing about Detroit that people dont really notice is like tonight..........they can go cold on the offensive end and still not fall that far behind. Tonight I think the most they were ever behind was like 5 points and thats when it seemed like the Lakers were hitting everything in sight.

I think the whole series they have not been behind hardly at all except for that stretch in game 2 where they were down by 10...Very impressive to me.

Again Lakers were fortunate to score 80 and that was because Det let up a little the last 3 minutes with a dd lead.........

Dont forget its not like LB has'nt done something like this before........remember KU and Danny Manning's run to the title is like "88".........They came out of no where to win it all. Beat some good teams that yr in that run.......Great Coach
