but when I move all 25-55 year old smart asses would have nobody to go to everytime the needed someone to watch the dogs for a week while they are on vacation.

furthermore if my old ass moves 99% of them would have to start going to the" rent a center" for tools .

and since 80% of them can't fix a drip in the shower faucet or do any kind of house repair they would have to hire someone instead of asking the old crab ass ..

then when their lawn mowers break down or their sad ass leaf blower quits they could knock on old crab ass door to borrow his or better yet have him clean the carb on their never maintained shit.

then when I return their 4 year old to their house because he thought he could ride his new battery operated "Truck" around the block ...the "New Wave" can apologize for having the nose stuck in the friggin phone texting about the pressure of the right makeup and parenthood..

Ya shit out of luck without us..

Yea, stereotypical old guy completely out of touch with reality. Pick up a book on Millenials and you may be singing an actual representative tune.

[h=3]Peter Pan generation[edit][/h]American sociologist Kathleen Shaputis labeled Millennials as the boomerang generation or Peter Pan generation, because of the members' perceived tendency for delaying some rites of passage into adulthood, for longer periods than most generations before them. These labels were also a reference to a trend toward members living with their parents for longer periods than previous generations.[SUP][66][/SUP]
According to Kimberly Palmer, "High housing prices, the rising cost of higher education, and the relative affluence of the older generation are among the factors driving the trend."[SUP][67][/SUP] However, other explanations are seen as contributing. Questions regarding a clear definition of what it means to be an adult also impacts a debate about delayed transitions into adulthood and the emergence of a new life stage, Emerging Adulthood. For instance, a 2012 study by professors at Brigham Young University found that college students are more likely to define "adult" based on certain personal abilities and characteristics rather than more traditional "rite of passage" events.[SUP][68][/SUP]
Larry Nelson, one of the three marriage, family, and human development professors to perform the study, also noted that some Millennials are delaying the transition from childhood to adulthood as a response to mistakes made by their parents. "In prior generations, you get married and you start a career and you do that immediately. What young people today are seeing is that approach has led to divorces, to people unhappy with their careers ... The majority want to get married [...] they just want to do it right the first time, the same thing with their careers."[SUP][68][/SUP]
The economy has also had a dampening effect on Millennials' ability to date and, ultimately, get married. In 2012 the average American couple spent an average of over $27,000 on their wedding.[SUP][69][/SUP] A 2013 joint study by sociologists at the University of Virginia and Harvard University found that the decline and disappearance of stable full-time jobs with health insurance and pensions for people who lack a college degree has had profound effects on working-class Americans, who now are less likely to marry and have children within marriage than those with college degrees.[SUP][70][/SUP]
USA Today reported that Millennials are "entering the workplace in the face of demographic change and an increasingly multi-generational workplace".[SUP][71][/SUP]

Yea, socioeconomic factors... Values.... Just a different mindset. The baby boom generation really has been on stage like no other generation previously. at some point, the microphone will have to be passed, the Paton passed, whatever coined phrase you would like to use.

It is a different world from yours or even my Generation in many aspects.

I personally have hope in the M gen more than any others. They have family values, don't put consumerism and work above quality of life, and actually care about the world, not money career.

Not so fast my friend. I spent a little more than that on my daughters wedding in 2001.

I believe some people spend that much but the average? Nope. I don't believe it.

Of course, George Clooney spent 10 million so that brings the average up I guess.
