OBSERVATION: two. 1) i think djok is smarter than nadal, sort of an ironical cast of mind, which you can read in his eyes and see in his face. i think nadal is more single minded, this is why i prefer to bet on nadal. his mind doesn't wander, he is less aware of context, perspective and more just focused on what he needs to do to win the match that day. 2) indoor tennis is real tennis. outdoor tennis is a different sport. for fans outdoor is better because nice and sunny and bright, but indoor, altho gloomy is a better test of actual tennis skills, as opposed to skill in adjusting to different elements. indoor tennis is pure tennis, outdoor is rough, adulterated tennis

POST-analysis: hard to say what this loss means, if anything. is fed back? or is it the perfect conditions: indoors, in europe, well rested, which favor his game? we'll see next year. never feel bad losing on nadal, had chances to hedge but usually faith in nadal is repaid, i'll take him every time at odds on if he's healthy. the reason it's more dangerous to go against fed indoors is he can use every bit of his technical skill. can't do that when the fucking wind is pushing the ball even a few inches. indoors he can let loose with the stuff no one else can do, which gets him an extra point here and there which is what it takes to beat the best.
