I don't believe all our woes are the fault of the right. Some of the stronger statements I make I'm sure are borne of frustration.

I said I have opinions, just like you. You have opinions. I think they are wild. Open borders with Mexico for example. Wild. Insane. Asinine.
I don't think you are comprehending or understanding what I am saying. The NHS is failing due to immigration and terrible practice. That doesn't mean some people can't still be happy with their GP. That doesn't reflect on the NHS as a system and how it is failing.
Take a look at this report published by the very same people who published the survey you linked to.
https://www.kingsfund.org.uk/sites/...eficits_in_the_NHS_Kings_Fund_July_2016_1.pdf
You don't have to read the whole thing, it is pretty long.
NHS providers and commissioners ended 2015/16 with an aggregate deficit of
?1.85 billion (unaudited), a threefold increase on the previous year. This is the
largest aggregate deficit in NHS history.
The NHS is haemorrhaging money uncontrollably. Now you can be happy with your GP all you want, but that is nothing short of a cold hard fact showing that the NHS is failing. A main reason many wanted out of the EU. And they got it.
If your GP is nice to you, I am pretty sure that would get a "yes" vote on are you satisfied. Right? It doesn't factor in what that GP does though does it. It doesn't factor in the over prescriptions of drugs or anything else now does it?
You are really out of your element with the NHS because you have no idea what you are talking about. I wouldn't expect you to because you don't live here and experience it first hand. I'd also be pretty confident in saying none of your friends in the UK work within the NHS.
The point is the system is broken. It is broken and failing (undeniable. look at the report. Facts opcorn2) because of what has happened and gone on without being corrected.
If you leave something and don't react, shit hits the fan eventually and then you have a way bigger mess to clean up than if you evaluate earlier and adjust accordingly.
Oh, here is this too from the report.
The principal cause of the deficit is the fact that funding has not kept pace
with the increasing demand for services.
Fact. Immigration. Fact.
I don't think it is conservative at all. Nor do I think the sky is falling. Nor am I scared or trying to invoke fear into anyone. I just think looking at the future is a lot more logical than the attitude of hey it hasn't happened yet, fuck it, lets keep rolling with this.
Do you handicap sports? Horses?
If the Patriots cover every single week for 5 weeks. for 8 weeks. for 10 weeks. are you going to think that hey this is a great gravy train it'll never change. hammering down hand over fist on the Pats minus/plus whatever every single week. Or are you going to realize that things correct themselves over time and catch up or even out.
If California Chrome wins every race, are you going to just bet him blindly since he hasn't let you down or failed yet. Or are you going to factor in future events and other contributing factors that can change the outcome of the race.
I really doubt your plenty of friends in the UK are either 1. being honest with you or 2. use the NHS much because I can tell you without any doubts at all that probably 80% (probably a lot more, this is generous) of the people I know here in the UK think the NHS is in a dire state and an absolute piss take.
Like I said, Brexit was voted on and won and a major player was the failing NHS. I know people who work directly within the NHS and the message is all the same. It is in a tail spin and losing more money than it is bringing in. But hey, why look into the future since it hasn't failed yet. I am sure the model of spend more than you bring in will hold up over the next 10, 15, 20 years.
"The sky is falling. The sky is falling."
Look chicken little. Let's be clear. You went on and about how everyone in the UK hates the NHS And then you got it shoved back in your pie hole. 60% approval is far from everyone disapproving of it. If it's failing so bad, why does the majority want to keep it? Your Brexit comparison is asinine as well. Because Brexit would fail on a revote and you know it. Everything you've posted after that is just a waste of bandwidth. Just like you want to say I have no idea about the NHS even though I proved your main point wrong, you have absolutely no clue how much deporting the most vital workforce in this country would be. So just sit your ass back in whatever cave you dwell in, and don't make ignorant comments about what is right and not right about THIS country. I live here, I know exactly what it would do. There have been multiple studies and news articles that prove what you and your pal tRUMP wants to do as catastrophic to the economy. Fuck your wall, and fuck your ignorance....
The much hated NHS....

Wow I guess you don't take too kindly to getting owned by facts. Owned by the same website you posted, shoving it right back down your throat, verifying what I said to begin with. The NHS is failing, undeniably. I can guarantee I know far more people in the UK than your few friends who "like the NHS". So again, I will go with what I know to be fact.
And you don't know anything. You have no idea what would happen. You just think you know. It is you who is acting like the sky will fall if illegal immigrants are sent back to their country. I am not worried about anything at all. You seem very edgy though and clearly can't tolerate being proven wrong.
Not sure what a wall has to do with anything either. Pretty sure we all know that isn't a reality.
The most vital work force? I don't think so. Not by a long shot.
Again though, I urge you to read the report published by the folks at the fine website you first linked, the Kings Fund, and read all about how the NHS is losing money at a blistering, record setting pace. But yeah, it is working just fine.:lol::lol::lol::lol:
Are you kidding right now?
Seriously, did you actually post this pile of crap as a joke or something?
Not only is this complete and utter bullshit, it's one of the worst attempts at lying to get yourself out of trouble I've heard from anyone over twelve years of age.
Airportis made a comment about probably the same twats that refuse to show cops ID, I'm paraphrasing, so I sarcastically responded to that using the exact same term.
That was post #305 & 306.
Alan made a comment to which I responded in post 310 and again in 312 that although airportis didn't quantify his statement, choosing to use the terms, "these protestors" and "they" that I knew not all protestors were violent and was fairly confident he did too.
Your first post to be started with "The KING of civil rights has spoken"
Where in the flying fuck did I ever say anything about 100%, and more importantly, where in the lying dick did you ever bring that up as your point.
The topic of any paragraph is usually in the first fucking sentence. You're full of shit Chuck, your intent and your point was to whine and bitch. That's it. There is no other bullshit of me missing your point, you never had a point, you never do. You prefer to make your snide comments, act pretentious, and then blather on about how you were wounded and wronged by someone telling you to shut your bitch ass up.
I've seen this show from you before Chuck. It's only a matter of time until you complain to jaek, if you haven't already. You bitch about everyone that doesn't put up with your wine and whine shit. This is a rerun.
Just run your mouth to someone else, Go tell some other dickhead that you're just the man to tell him what others are thinking champ. It's that simple. I won't bother you, you can count on that.
What a crock of shit your last post was about this though, good grief.
Hope this helps,
FDC

Serious question:
How do you think the price of produce will be affected when Matthew and Betsy are picking your tomatoes instead of Juanita and Miguel?
A) Price will not be affected
B) Price will go down
C) Price will go up a little
D) Price will go up significantly
Personally, I think D.

I'd say any opinion is just speculation. You can't say what would happen because that situation has never been presented.
Obviously the "sky is falling" speculation would be D, that the price would go up significantly. But the farmers still have to sell their stock. If the produce is going to go up in price, the consumer still has a decision on if they want to buy it or not. Also, a lot of produce is imported now anyway, so if farmers wanted to still sell their stock, they'd have to meet those prices otherwise they wouldn't sell very much.
I'd venture to think that the prices may go up slightly, but the farmer would have to either find someone to work the wages they can pay, or sell their produce for less and earn less profit. So they would have to change the way they do things if they want to carry on taking in the same profits after their costs. Otherwise, they'd have to settle for less profits.
What would have happened if Hillary won and raised minimum wage ? Prices would have gone up significantly but the masses wouldn't care because they are making 15 bucks an hour? net net would have been a loss but the ignorant can't see the forest for the trees? Just my uneducated back woods way of seeing it but I am sure someone will explain to me ??!!

Smart business people would have fired half their work forces to try and keep prices lower at fast food restaurants. and or a happy meal would cost 20 bucks without a drink, add 7.50 for milk...15 bucks to flip burgers is asanine
and our pres elect just settled his fraud Trump U lawsuits paying out 25 fucking million Dollars to students he commited fraud on.
SO happy i didnt vote because Now i look smart instaed of stupid.
Hillary voters called stupid now trump voters called stupid LMAO
OMFG if he dont get sworn in january We Get Pence

The extent of your ignorance is quite amazing.
California produces a quarter of the nation's food and that's not counting a ton that is exported. Higher prices would not just trickle down, it be a flood. From shipping, ground and air transportation, grocery stores, restaurants, which in turn affects everyone else down the food chain. When the food they eat costs more, they will in turn charge more for everything else.
You should just stop with your uneducated comments. I'm done arguing with you. You're an unarmed opponent.
http://www.slate.com/articles/healt...and_vegetables_what_would_we_eat_without.html
California produces a sizable majority of many American fruits, vegetables, and nuts: 99 percent of artichokes, 99 percent of walnuts, 97 percent of kiwis, 97 percent of plums, 95 percent of celery, 95 percent of garlic, 89 percent of cauliflower, 71 percent of spinach, and 69 percent of carrots (and the list goes on and on).
That article is from 2013 it seems. I'm sure there's been plenty of advancements. Still doesn't change the fact (again, a fact) that we do import a lot of produce. A lot, doesn't mean all. I'm not sure what %s you want but I'd say a lot is pretty accurate. Or maybe a great deal. Or maybe tons if we want to be more specific. Or tonnes as it were. In any case I am pretty sure we aren't harvesting mass quantities of bananas.
But yes, you should definitely stop when you don't understand what you are talking about. You can't google something like how the NHS works and expect to pass it off as knowledge. You were completely wrong on every point, which is why you've given up and not even responded to that and moved on to something else. Good on you. Leave it behind and try to change the topic on how much walnuts and artichokes California churns out. All the while, the point I made from the beginning drawing the line and similarities to the failing NHS is still the same. :0008
