Is the media bashing him or is the Union Local President bashing him? I've seen the reports of the Twitter "war" between those two but that's not media bias, it's reporting. If there are some talking heads that are bashing him, that's political entertainment (like Hannity, Limbaugh, etc.). I think those two things get confused and unfairly merged.
No, I was answering a direct question soliciting my opinion on the secretary odd education appointment. You took a snippet of that conversation and asked me to apply it to several cabinet positions and I said I'm not prepared to do that. I did supply you with two names that I thought were better options at SofE. How do you go from that to me "just saying what sounds good at the time".
Yes my mother taught for 47 years and has her PhD in education. Funny how you readily dismiss her so easily as being a preposterous pick when you have no knowledge of her experience or qualifications. Trump didn't get elected because "the people spoke" as he didn't even win the popular vote and lost it by a very large margin so I personally find it somewhat ridiculous to act as if his election is indicative of our points to the overall feelings of the population.

So in your efforts to tell me how unimportant the popular vote is, "quit beating my popular vote drum", the "election was run to win" and how "the people" is really a cross section of the states and you make the statement "sorry,... not really" you're contradicting yourself. A cross section would be a direct reflection of the actual population meaning California and NY's percentage of citizenship would be directly represented on all counts, but that's not how your cross section works, is it? No, in your cross section liberals in those two states are diminished because if Cali got the same representational number of electoral votes pet capita as Montana, we wouldn't be having this conversation, which is exactly why you said sorry they don't count more, i respond by pointing out your hypocrisy and this is your response.
