Fair enough.
There are several deals, such as the Trump Tower in Miami that are private Russian investors or companies. So Russia may have been broad stroke.
Forbes has reported numerous times on Trump's holdings in Exxon Mobil. This is only one.

So you're saying his holdings are about as diversified as most other billionaires. Exxon is about as safe a company to have money in as you'll find so I would think he was crazy if he didn't have money in their stock. You made it sound like he was in bed with Exxon and would get even more wealthy because of dealings with Russia. When in all reality his portfolio will do a little better if Exxon does well but it's not going to change much.
I think it would be naive to think that the strangeness of statements made by Trump as it relates to Putin don't bring about concern. Without his tax portfolio or statements I think we'll be left to wonder as to the actual depth of his involvement.
On another note, Uranium One would not be an issue had Hillary Clinton refused to release her tax statements and financial disclosures as Trump has done.
The problem here is there was an agreement with Clinton and Obama before he selected her to SoS that the Clinton Foundation would show all donations so there wouldn't be any room for questions. They did show almost every donation but forgot a few, one being the 131 MILLION from the Uranium One founder. You have to admit that first off getting a 131 million dollar donation from that guy raises some questions. But forgetting to report it raises even more. It's not like that's some small donation that nobody was thinking about.
I keep seeing people post about Trump changing things up by not doing the same old thing and going with businessmen instead of politicians like Hillary and I find it very curious that every time I being up something about Trump being crooked, a fraud, or a liar and bring to bear something like this, his business ties in Russia, it's always met with a comparison to some thing Hillary either was involved with or alleged to be involved with.
I think Trump is looking to do things differently. As we previously talked about his selection for Sec of Education was met with "I can't think of a worse choice" by you. When in all reality it's a big change from the norm and a change from the norm that hasn't worked for a big segment of our youth. I understand why people would look at his selection of the Exxon CEO, who is set to retire in March before all of this, but in all reality the guy is a complete stud. Take out your fear that he's in bed with the Russians and look at his history. He's not just some slap stick that was handed everything in life. He worked his way up, is brilliant and has had to deal with leaders and businessmen from pretty much all of the big countries. Is he perfect? Hell if I know but I know he's really good at what he's done and I like that.
If Trump is so different than why is it so easy or everyone so quick to establish a congruence between he and Hillary? Seems to me that if he was such a trendsetter and fresh new approach, it would be uncommon and difficult to draw comparisons to the one person they hate so much and point to as representative of the old guard?
I wasn't bringing up Hillary when comparing Trump but you brought up that some things Trump has done would be cause for concern and I merely said there are concerns with Hillary as well. Honestly, anyone that runs this country would cause groups of people out there to be concerned.
I mean Kobe sure has a ton of similarities to Jordan, which is why I would think he's often compared to him. We couldn't have a discussion about the turnaround fall away jumpers, or who was a better shooter, etc... if we were arguing opposites. Just sayin
