Realistically, what do you think you could shoot at Augusta?

Little short men with attitudes. Usually they are looking for a fight.

Compensatory behavior exhibited by those with a Napoleon complex may also include being overly aggressive or argumentative and a need to over-achieve, which all serve to give the person a sense of greater self worth.

Im not back, dont worry about it. Can I call you Nap for short? Have fun with it....

Agent is a Class A BS artist who bets $20 a game and plays .25 Poker online and thinks he is an expert at both. Now that he's won a couple of Dairy Queen Opens at the local putt-putt, he's ready to break par at Augusta.

Agent does talk a lot of BS, but I know the guy and have seen him play poker. I have not played, golf with him, but that is on the schedule for next week.

Whether I think he could break 72 from the members tee's at Augusta, I don't know I think he might be able to be close, depends on pin placement and conditions

Sure BDB, come on out here! Do you have any collared shirts or will you need to borrow one? No wife beaters on the local links here sorry pal.

Thanks Jack and BSU. Only question about Augusta would be if I could swing around my boner I would have all day.

First of all, This thread has had me crying cause you guys bustingon each other is hilarious.
Secondly, I can garuntee agent couldnt break 72 on Augusta and would bet him 10,000 that he couldnt break 80. He could be a great golfer too, but from the tips that course is long and narrow not a good combination. But even if someone hits the ball straight and long every time they still have to deal with tricky approach shots due to elevation changes. Then once your on the green you are garunteed a 3 putt.

I saw that GJN has played PGA west, i just got back from there a couple days ago. There are courses at pga west that would make most men quiver, (with glee and terror). Anyways for those of you who havent played there, they have morethan one of THE TOUGHEST COURSES IN CALIFORNIA. My buddy lives there and is a +4, he is playing on the gateway tour and is the best golfer i have ever seen in person. But this guy plays random hard ass courses all the time and he could break par at augusta but only after playing it a few times.

All in all, thanks for the laughs guys, agent your full of bullshit, and anybody here played PGA west, cause those courses are something to talk about.

just talked to a buddy who got back from agusta....first time there....says the hills, slopes are amazing nothing you can get from tv.....also says the greens are a joke for average golfers (based on tourney pin positioning)........says most avg golfers would take at least three shots to get in after their approach shot.

says he's be lucky to shoot 80 and he shoots mid 70's.....low 70's when playing well....

also have a comming buddy who played there years ago....scratch golfer....on-off tour and nike-nationwide tour....played agusta 4 rounds...shot 83 to start, dropped each day to 78-76-72......

makes me think me and my 13 handicap would struggle to break 100 on my first go at it, but would eventually find my way to low 90's after a few rounds.

i'll up my projections (based on throwing out the first round you play there)

add 10% if you are below a 15
add 15% if you are around a 15
add 20-25% if you are a 20+

Yea, everybody knows somebody who is the best they have ever seen and is so good and blah, blah blah. You morons think you know what good is because if someone hits the ball forward every time and shoots 71 at your local muni that they could make it out there. You idiots dont even know what good is. Stick to what you have a clue about and leave the golf to me. I know Augusta National, I have been there, I have walked every inch of that course, I know it better than any of you, I know golf and I know what I am capable of. SO, the 10 large is posted and if any of you losers can get us on (yea fukcin right) lets bet it up, otherwise STFU. Yea Im sure any of our golf balls would just roll right off the green and go in the creek every time because the pros are the only ones who can putt a ball. :mj07:

The guy i know is petelski(gateway tour), but i know a couple guys who work at pga, ones called jesus

And to agent I must say you are delirious and angry, for as much golf knowledge as you claim to have you should know that "walking every inch" of a course is not equivalent to breaking par on that course. Yeah i could break par there to IF every swing i took was the greatest one of my life. The question was realistically what could you shoot, and there are pro golfers,( not guys sitting at home stroking their putter all day and playing the "what if" game on a gambling forum) that arent breaking par on this course. So why should anybody beleive that a nobody that hasnt done anything in golf is better than 80% of the PROS!?!?!
