Absolutely no reason whatsoever to dump that thread, other than yyz complaining about it, as usual. Seriously, why? Because it's an uncomfortable subject? It's going to be the lead story on every damn tv Staton for a month, but we can't have a frigging discussion about it here because someone is uncomfortable with another's views and can't express themselves like an adult? No wonder we have such fucked up social issues. What's the sense if all it is is Wednesday night poker and vlogs that I don't watch. That's ridiculous.

Can we have a thread regarding the situation? Sad sad events that occurred all around. Nobody deserved to die, the guy in Baton Rouge, the guy in Minneapolis or the police officers in Dallas.
I know this is going to meet opposition, do you think if the guys were white they would have been killed? I don't think so.

These threads never have a happy ending. The politics forum is fine. I'll leave this thread here in general until it starts getting out of hand, and it will.
There are 2 in the dumpster that, IMO, were getting hateful and out of hand. Of course, FDC was discussing the topic like an adult but gets pissed at me for moving it.
I won't get in the middle of these ever again except by moving the threads at my discretion to the politics forum.

I never once said I felt sorry for cops. I said being a cop would suck. I think being a teacher would suck. I think being a garbage man would suck. I think being the POTUS would suck. And again, I don't feel sorry for any of the people doing those jobs. This thread was about a cop and I simply commented about that.
Adding to these questions: Why is the NRA not up in arms or defending LICENSED gun carrier #PhilandoCastile?

Personally I'm sick and tired of people period breaking the laws over and over again, could care less of their skin color.....when people resist arrest--get tazed, don't be getting bent out of shape when shit happens I have NEVER heard a story where the prep gets away scot-free.....if you have issue with how you're treated when being detained go through the proper channels.......

I'm sure that some are. Probably some videos of white guys rapping and throwing hundreds all over the place, too. Just easier to find the black guys doing it. Ask this: Why is the Minnesota shooting on social media? Can you imagine a loved one being shot while sitting next to you, and rather then render aid, you film your narrative of the "wrong" being done by the police? No agenda there!

Or because I'm aware that 4 officers killed isn't a greater travesty than police killing an unarmed black man 3 times a week?
