3 years into career with sb appearance and nfc champ games....

Even with this loss still 7-5.....career winning % much higger then most in first 3 years...

I dont understand why people think he cant be a good nfl QB.....he already has been.....

Passer, not as great as others......but being a QB isnt only defined on ability to throw a deep out....ive listened to alot of the greats.....they want a QB who is tough, will die for his guys, and can make plays....kap can make plays and tough is not a question.....

Being able to carve up a zone D is great.....but ask peyton and russ wilson which style was more rewarding last year....bet i know the answer

The most important attribute for a QB is his desire to win and then comes his work ethic...KAP has shown he is ok on both....and on a pretty shitty Niners team this year after they were decimated by injuries, he has still got them to a 7-4 mark after the first 12 weeks of the season....

All the argument was he was just lucky to have the defense he did.....well niners defense sucks and he is still 7-4 and in much better spot then most teams.....all while playing in the toughest division in football.....

Anyways, yea he doesnt hit his spots like other guys....atleast thats what she said

But other guys dont bring the intangibles he does....harbaugh is one helluva QB....and a phenomenal coach.....he still thinks KAP has what it takes to win......thats good enough for me.....
That is some seriously sweet Kool - aid bro. Kaepernick doesn't have any better work ethic than anyone else. As a matter of fact it was exactly that, his work ethic, that was questioned by coaches and teammates last off season.

Also, the qb prior to him also had moderate success the with the exact same team so the whole super bowl appearance, conference championship, and the 7-4 record are a team accomplishment and every team has injuries. If you think Harbaugh loves him so much, why is he leaving?
His teammates do not "love" him as you say either. It's actually quite well documented that he's split the team almost down the middle so while I appreciate your fervor, you're just a bit delusional. He sucks and is no comparison to Russell Wilson. Hell be doesn't even compare to Hoyer.

I never said they love him....i know they respect him though....a lot....i said they want a guy who is willing to die for em....they know kap is....

And who is leaving? Harbaugh? You mean because the media said it? Cause i assure you the media is constantly wrong....he was supposed to be gone end of last year...and again this year....and the team was split on kap and alex smith and who should start....they werent split on liking Kap as a player/individual.....and i promise you Kap has a fine work ethic....humans arent just born with his physical appearance and strength....you dont get drafted into the NFL and Mlb by being lazy....one sport guys can maybe get away without hard work, but to have the ability and fundementals to get drafted into the 2 biggest leagues in the US doesnt happen by chance or accident....

Wins are the #1 criteria that QBS are graded on.....wins are far more important then throwing a deep out....but thats only my opinion....

I hear the most educated people in sports talk about QBS wins vs losses being the final judgement on a person's resume.....then in the next breath say wins are a team statistic when its convenient for the sake of the argument....so i understand how you say a win is a team stat when so do others.....but that means you can never use wins to gauge a QBs success now....cant have it both ways....

Im the opposite i suppose...i think wins do directly reflect QB play....you can win with weak spots at any position....except QB
....that is well documented over the historry of the NFL....over the short term, bad QBS have been able to get lucky.....but for a guy to win 3 straight years including 2 nfc champ games and a SB appearance....i dont consider him lucky or fortunate to be on a "good team"...

Again i respect your opinion....kap doesnt look convention in terms of QB play, but when a guy has superior numbers compared to montana/young at this stage of careers, i think he should be consider a "decent" passer....at least not pathetic.....

Anyways, its all opinion but ill conceed for the sake of time.....he is terrible.....

Gl moving forward

Kaep has clearly regressed. He has played his way into fat daddy's bold declaration. I'll take him ahead of cutler still. At least the potential is still there.

Never said anyone loves anyone....if i did in different post i apologize not my intentions....i just meant he has qualities that teammates admire and can rally around...

Defense ranked #1 and #2. San Fran got shut down. To put that on the shoulders of the QB alone is to not understand the fundamentals of football.

Not attacking you bro. Like I said earlier, I dig the fervor.
Here's the thing, "tough, ... die for his guys", are really just one of the intangibles you look for in a quarterback. It's not enough in the NFL to just exhibit toughness and desire. Where you're wrong in my opinion is that a team can rally around this. Qb toughness is only displayed when taking a sack or making a tackle after a pick.

Nice try gjn but that was covered several pages ago. You're just trying to save face as you defensed the loser. He sucks that's the main point. Sucks, horrible, not good and you said he was going to be great. Your were wrong, you'll be alright though. Everyone's wrong some time

i said he had a cannon and was better than Terrell pryor (which was a joke of an analysis)

i could care less about him or the 49ers but he's still better than 75% of the qb's in the league, including cutler who you continue to defend for some reason.......he's not been good this yeat but I'd take 4th year qb who has 3 title games and 1 sb appearance on his resume.

And by what measure is he better than Cutler. Passing? No. Rating? No. Touchdowns? No. Besides that, you keep trying to turn this into a Cutler discussion when it's not.
This is about Kaepernick not being even a remotely good NFL quarterback. I'd rather have almost every other starter than him. He's not even as good as RGIII

Yep......Blake Bortels and Geno Smith are awesome......and rg knee? His own coach prefers a college qb in colt mccoy.....

Want to like cutler but the dude is a mistake prone rock head who couldn't lead a bunch of starving homeless guys to a free buffet

Actually, i think Bortles shows some promise. I've never been a fan of RG3s. I just didn't have the balls to predict that he would suck. Lol.
Geno and Manuel suck as Vick and Bridgewater. I just want to add that it is merely coincidence that the four I just mentioned are black. They are just the first four horrible starting qbs that come to mind. I'm not a fan of whomever is starting in Houston either.
As far as Cutler goes, I agree he has social and communication issues. I believe he is immensely talented but has been beaten down his entire career. I think that has certainly damaged his confidence and that has presented itself in his play at times. Winning would cure everything of course, but I think he gets blamed for more than he is responsible for. I have seen Bennett cause at least three picks himself this year due to his apathetic play, yet Cutler takes the heat.
You know what's funny though is living in Fort Worth since 95 I get way more Cowboys football shoved diem my throat than you can imagine and I was telling a buddy that is a big Cowboys fan that I think Cutler and Romo could change places and both teams and players would probably benefit.
