Your first question baffles me.

I didn't "come in". I was asked. :0008

so 12 years ago you were asked to post your picks here and after 12 years you decided you now want to be paid?

right, got it. :sadwave:

Is it a conflict of interest to pimp Jesus in the avatar and sexual images on the service homepage?

Not a bash, just an honest question.

I think images of Jesus would be a better selling angle. Nothing special about a chick wearing a 69 jersey, but if people thought you were getting info from the Big Man himself .... well there's an angle that sells.

GL to both of you guys, I used a pay service back in 1985 and was the last time as I kicked myself in the ass when I lost thinking I would rather lose on my own vs just random following.

Thunder, I really have not kept up with your winning percentage, Jack told me you were one of the best here. He knows as he owns the place!!

Senor, I have enjoyed your write ups over the years and as I have not always agreed with your chalk picks. You are genuinely a pure handicapper. Your record speaks for it's self.

I think both of these gentlemen are worthy of making Money for picks, as at least you have documented evidence of each one's record here. GL to you guys and Jack as always :toast:

Is it that hard to understand?

Who here enjoys MJs???? My guess would be all of us.

This isn't the golden day of sportsbooks online. Look at the sponsor list and picture what it was 6 years ago.

Sure, it would be some ideal utopia where people post out of the goodness of their heart. However I'm quite sure Jack isn't running the site for charity and if this is what makes sense from a business standpoint then more power to him.

For the Thunders and Senors out there- it's no different than a dentist, getting your hair cut, paying an extra 25$ for a tug job at the end of a massage- you either value the service, or you don't. Some people will find value and then it's worth it to them to pay. Some people won't. Who are we to tell people where to spend their cash.

BOL Senor and Thunder :toast:

Totally agree. If someone doesn't like it they can ignore it. How the fuck does this compromise the site?

I see nothing wrong with anyone wanting to get paid for their work. I wish Senor, Thunder & especially Jack much success in this new venture.

you`re saying that thunder is a fraud?...he`s duping people?...... and jack is aware of this and is tagging along?...

o.k....

One of the major issues is his record keeping. That is what 75% of this is about. I've stated my opinions a long time ago. I'm just gonna watch this play out.

Personally, I have no problem with him selling his picks or with Jack hosting it on his site. He deserves to make some cash. The price is not out of line either if he produces a healthy amount of winners. I've paid more that is for sure. I just won't be one of his customers.

Sad day here at MJ's.

I'll chime in as well. I'm a small unit gambler. I think it's as hard and just as much a challenge to pick the right handicapper to follow. But I also think it's fun trying to figure that out. I left another site after I had made some good friends because of the political bullshit and racist antics of members that mods turned a blind eye to.

Thunder going pay doesn't make much sense to me as far as benefiting Madjacks. I was told some time ago by a friend who is a moderator at another site and has been around the gambling sites for years, that sites like this are worth a lot of money. Thunder has brought a huge amount of traffic to this site and consequently, money to this site.

My guess is that Thunder wanted to go pay and leave the site, and rather than see that happen, Jack decided to link him in here. Because I'm assuming it really doesn't benefit Jack to have him as a tout that will lose THOUSANDS OF HITS PER DAY for whatever amount of pay that will come of it, having him as a tout here. And guaranteed it won't be much pay. Most guys just don't stay with any pay service for long. One losing weekend and it's over for most. But losing him completely is not a benefit to Jack either.

I also know there is no way to follow Thunder's picks because there are so many in a day, you have NO CLUE what you're betting or what you might be winning or losing until the day is over. Again, that takes the fun out of gambling for me. I enjoy the bet and following the games.

I have never paid and never will pay for picks. It takes the fun out of gambling. And to charge for picks is just not honorable. The people here have developed a kinship with their fellow gamblers. It's more than just a gambling site. It's a social destination for better or worse and I think many here feel betrayed by some of the people they trusted.

And betrayal is a lethal poison.....

You guys are like a bunch of cackling hens sometimes. Who gives a fuck? It's not like anyone is being forced to pay for being here now, Christ!! What Jaek does at his site, what Lanny and Thunder do with their efforts, is solely their business. For fucks sake it's like a fucking sewing circle up in this bitch. What you and others do with your money, as far as paying for his picks or not, is also up to you. The only people affected are those that may have followed Thunder when his picks were free. I don't blame anyone for trying to get paid for their efforts. Good luck to them, I hope it works out beneficial for all.

Hope this helps,
FDC

Where it is real F ing COLD
There is no doubt in my mind the guy is profitable. I just can't do it cause I work a lot of Saturdays. I can't be around for that volume. His bankroll to me is easy to understand and maybe I'm wrong. Lets say your bankroll is 5 k for the entire season, you have to have WEEKLY starting bank. You can't bet your entire 5 k, so if I'm reading it right your bank should be at 1k. So if you get hammered that week your next week should be at 1 k again and if you win you recoup or profit. Regardless of what your bank is at, your WEEKLY bankroll should be far less than your yearly. If you are playing your yearly bank at what he plays then you will lose it at any bad week. So lets say week 1 your bank is 1000 and you lose 20% with juice you have 800 left for that week. then the next week you start with 1000 again and you win 40% with juice you have 1400 with profit of $200. The next week after that you still start with $1000 for that weeks bank with 200 to the good. Your weekly bank is the same, you can't bet your yearly bank. To me a $250 per month pay isn't going to make much for a $1000 per week bank and that's provided you are able to get all picks at that price. This service is for people with higher Weekly bank and adjust at a different time.
