This, I guess is where I disagree. I didnt think MADJACKS was a place to hook fish for a tout, part of the reason I came here in 2004, along with the fact of following BgFalcons Mac plays.
To each their own, call me a pussy, call me what everyone is calling Penguin, but I never thought Jack would go this route to a tout.
Although, it has peeked my interest and may just buy the first three months of the NFL season and ride the coaster. In fact I think I will.
1) This year I want something in returnWhat does he want in return? Perhaps it's appreciation. Perhaps it's some roses on Monday. How the fuck do I know? If he's gonna go pay why not just say it? Why the big song and dance.
2) Uh, this is a handicapping site. If one of the best posters is no longer going to be posting- hmm, let me see, why would that be of interest to me?

Making an attempt to cover my time and especially my expenses for the last 12 years here. I brought that up in somebody else s thread that was titled "Senor Capper".... I believe.
Why should I cover all the costs every year? I shouldn't. It doesn't make any difference how much money I have made. Those who followed me made out also.

This isn't the golden day of sportsbooks online. Look at the sponsor list and picture what it was 6 years ago.
Sure, it would be some ideal utopia where people post out of the goodness of their heart. However I'm quite sure Jack isn't running the site for charity and if this is what makes sense from a business standpoint then more power to him.
For the Thunders and Senors out there- it's no different than a dentist, getting your hair cut, paying an extra 25$ for a tug job at the end of a massage- you either value the service, or you don't. Some people will find value and then it's worth it to them to pay. Some people won't. Who are we to tell people where to spend their cash.
