Props to Shogun. Machida is still my favorite, but I'm glad this Shogun controversy shit is finally over. Shogun has the answer to Machida, end of story.

Lay, i have to hand it to ya take a bow. U stuck with Shogun when i thought u were nuts back in the day. I never saw him fight in pride but that is one tough mother fuker. The way he absorbs pain is absolutely amazing. when he is getting knee in the gut i think it hurts me more just watching.

Anybody else thinks Shogun would beat up Anderson ? I would like to see Anderson try and dance around like he does against BJJ guys with zero stand up :142smilie

"the bunker"
i took 2 things away from tonight`s card....

1)even with the little gloves, being a precise striker and landing scoring shots will eventually get you knocked out or beat up if you aren`t a great wrestler and decide to stand with a guy who throws punches with bad intentions(see stout and machida)...

2)always give serious consideration to an elite wrestler vs a striker with average wrestling skills...

imo...

Lawlor just gave away the win , needed 1 or 2 more punches to finish the deal .
MacDonald breaks his leg in a fight nothing has happened in at the point .
Stout had Stephens hurt and decided to let him get up with 2 mins to go in the last round while sitting on top of a hurt and gassed opponent . Then he manages to lose the remaining 2 mins :mj07:
I wish these idiots had some brains in their heads .

Koscheck fought smart , this is how the one dimensional wrestlers are supposed to fight ... ( looking and Maynard , Sherk and few others ) .

Machida's ground game is whack , Shogun reversed him/got up fairly easily with the same move twice while Machida was just laying there not doing any thing . I think Jon Jones would probably beat him up , maybe even Rashad if he goes Koscheck on him for 3 rounds instead of thinking he is a boxer like he did in the first fight .

What a shocker, Showdown likes all the canadians except for 1(Doerksen).
And I like the odds that Doerksen is getting.

So Showdown goes 0-7 on predicting Canadanian fighters.
The one canadian winner and he goes against him.
I said that I liked the odds and didn't even play it.

Could have saved my MISERABLE night.

Canada 1-6 tonight.
Maybe Kickserv should not brag about training them.
