I hate that Big Baldy fuck Marg.

Throw his big, Dumb arse out of reffing.

No way the Karo fight should have been stopped at that point.
At least, let him get punched out.

Big, Useless Prick!!!

Thank you BJ.

I could see the fight going either way.....it wasn't bullshit to me. Lyoto won the third and the 1st two were very close.

Just my opinion.

Hope gmroz is ok.

HELL
I guess maybe I am biased a little, I thought Rampage won 1-2, and obviously lost the 3rd. When all things are considered equal, not really much happening in round 1 a few legs kicks for Machida a few punches for Rampage, in my opinion it has to go to the one who is more aggressive. Machida fought like he always does, run run and more run and it almost won him the fight. Too bad it couldn't have went another round. At the end of the day it's about marketing and $, so when it is relatively close, have to believe the UFC wanted Rampage. Machida, altought extremely discipline and elusive, is not fun to watch and quite boring, just not a fan of his style. Disclaimer I had no $ on the fight. Shoot me if you must....

Guys, go ahead and say whatever you want. If you can see this fight going any way other than to Machida you are simply clueless. Rampage raised Machida's hand at the end of the 3rd round because he knew he was outmatched. Rampage was embarrassed by the decision, you should be too.

course it wasn`t b.s to you...you got a gift...

go check out the mmajunkie/sherdog rbr scoring.....

no sober person scored the first for jackson...

i put this at whirte`s feet....he doesn`t like machida`s style...i wouldn`t be shocked if that bald headed m.f.`er`s fingerprints are all over this...

i`d wager everybody here was thinking,"whoever wins the 3rd,winds the fight"...

I guess we are in the minority. Sick.

no...we`re not...

Referee Herb Dean presides over the main event of the evening. No surprise, it?s Jackson pressing forward as the action begins, feinting punches and trying to cut off Machida?s angles. Machida lands four or five inside leg kicks for his first offense. Jackson charges in, winging punches, but Machida is on his bike. Now, ?Rampage? initiates the clinch and stomps the taped feet of Machida as they work along the fence. They split and Jackson hits a glancing uppercut, while Machida lands a kick to the body. Another kick allows Jackson to clinch again, but they soon disengage. ?Rampage? whiffing on his punches in the last 30 seconds. He eats another leg kick from Machida.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Machida
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-10
Mike Whitman scores the round 10-9 Machida

Round 2
A knee and a kick from Machida cause ?Rampage? to tie up, where he catches Machida low with a knee. Machida shakes it off quickly and they restart in the center. Knee to the body by Jackson before they clinch and ?Rampage? scores a takedown. Jackson trying to pin Machida against the base of the cage, but Machida pops back up and takes the dominant position in the clinch. Jackson lands a hard-but-glancing shot as they break. Liver kick by Machida is followed by a solid uppercut from ?Rampage.? Machida slaps a kick to the back of Jackson?s thigh and they tie up again. Machida tosses Jackson to the canvas at the end of the round and Machida launches a kick at his head right at the buzzer, for which he apologizes immediately.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-10
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-10
Mike Whitman scores the round 10-9 Jackson

Round 3
Jackson coming with some leg kicks of his own now, but his follow-up punches are out of range. Machida stuns Jackson with a combo, sending ?Rampage? backward into the fence. Machida chases him down and scores with a few knees from the Thai plum, but Jackson fires right back with a flurry. Machida trips Jackson to the mat and lands in half-guard, where he tries to pry his right leg free and pass to Jackson?s right side. He stops trying to pass for a moment to work for a kimura on Jackson?s right arm. Machida finally passes with about 90 seconds left, and then hops into full mount. Machida lays an elbow across Jackson?s face, then postures up and spins for an armbar on Jackson?s right limb. Jackson picks him up for the slam and Machida releases the hold with 40 seconds left. Back on the feet, Machida gets underhooks and presses Jackson into the fence, then gets a waistlock and tries to drag him down. Machida drops for a leglock and pulls guard in the waning seconds.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Machida (30-28 Machida)
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Machida (30-29 Machida)
Mike Whitman scores the round 10-9 Machida (29-28 Machida)

that was sherdog....this is mmajunkie

Round 1 - The night's headliner is underway. No touch of the gloves. Jackson stalks as Machida circles. A full 30 seconds in, nothing's landed as the fighters circle. Machida attempts some low kicks but has nothing behind them. More than a minute in, there's still little action. Jackson is willing to wait for an opening, but Machida isn't giving him one. Machida attempts some low kicks, but he's too far away to do much with them. Jackson paws his jab but can't get within reach. Machida throws a low kick, and Jackson counters with a nice straight left. Machida scampers away, and Jackson chases with punches before pressing him against the cage. Jackson tries a foot stomp, but the pace slows. Machida wings a shot on the break, and they reset. Machida comes in with a lunging knee to the body, and Jackson just misses a counter. Machida lands the next knee nicely, but Jackson grabs him and puts him into the fence. Machida reverses and the jockey for upper-body position and trade short knees. Machida eventually pushes away and resets. Machida circles as Jackson begins to chase before settling down again. Jackson wings and misses with hooks. Machida lands a low kick and then retreats out of the way of Jackson's shots. Not a ton of action. MMAjunkie.com scores it 10-9 for Machida.

Round 2 - Jackson stalks as soon as the round opens. Machida forces him back with a lunging knee and fake front kick. Jackson lunges through the next ones and presses Machida into the cage. Jackson works a couple short punches to the body. Machida reverses but takes a low blow, and we have a brief timeout before a restart. Little action as both look to counter. Jackson lunges with a left and then clinches with Machida. In a familiar fashion, they fight for upper-body control before Jackson finally gets his first takedown. Machida is in the seated position against the cage, and he easily gets back to his feet. He then presses Jackson into the cage and looks for and gets the clean break. Machida tries to dart in with a shot, and Jackson ties him up again. They're against the cage again, and Jackson holds him tight to avoid an escape. Machida, though, ultimately gets it and lands a solid body kick and then breaks out of a clinch with a punch. Jackson wings a left while chasing. Machida lands a low kick and a stiff left jab, and the fighters tie up again. Machida presses Jackson into the cage, and the ref wants action. Machida looks for a trip, but Jackson remains upright. Jackson with a knee to the body before they break. The fighters swing and trade punches, and Jackson is knocked off balance. Machida pulls back a punch before the round ends. It's close, but MMAjunkie.com scores it 10-9 for Jackson.

Round 3 - The final round of the night is underway. Jackson looks for a low kick, but Machida is ready. Machida fires off one of his own. More pawing of the jabs, and Jackson fires off lunging punches that just miss their mark. Machida plants his feet, but Jackson isn't ready to engage and throws a soft low kick. The boo birds want some action. Jackson throws his hands and connects with air as Machida retreats. Jackson moves in and eats a right, and Machida unloads a barrage. Jackson looks in trouble but then answers with a storm of his own. Machida, though, quickly dumps him to the mat and works from half guard. Jackson seems fully alert. Nice sequence there. The pace slows, though, once Machida is on the mat, and he looks to free his second leg. He settles for elbows to the midsection, and the crowd is yelling for a standup. Machida continues trying to free his second leg, but Jackson uses his legs to secure it. Machida looks to grab an arm, but Jackson stays compact while on his back. The boo birds are begging for a standup now with 90 seconds remaining. But Machida finally frees the leg and gets mount. Jackson pulls him close, and Machida settles for a couple short elbow strikes. He then grabs a leg, rolls his legs over Jackson's body and torques an armbar. Jackson powers his way back to his feet and amazingly survives. He now stalks, but Machida engages first and pushes his opponent into the cage. Machida drags Jackson to the mat and then scrambles trying to secure a leg and shoulder lock. The round ends, and MMAjunkie.com scores it 10-9 for Machida. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson def. Lyoto Machida via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28).
