Damnitt, I want to KO myself. I said on here a few months back that I was waiting for a fight I was going to hammer and it was the BJ fight. As soon as I heard the fight was going to happen I knew I was going to go very large on BJ but of course I morphed into a large clitorous and couldn't do it. For the last time, I'm done watching or hearing any kind of hype for the fights. I know what I like and I don't need others telling me what is going to happen.

And for those of you who say Machida got hosed, too bad. I got screwed on the first Shogun Machida fight for 5 units(might have been 7 but I can't remember) at +400 so I feel no sympathy.

no...we`re not...

Referee Herb Dean presides over the main event of the evening. No surprise, it?s Jackson pressing forward as the action begins, feinting punches and trying to cut off Machida?s angles. Machida lands four or five inside leg kicks for his first offense. Jackson charges in, winging punches, but Machida is on his bike. Now, ?Rampage? initiates the clinch and stomps the taped feet of Machida as they work along the fence. They split and Jackson hits a glancing uppercut, while Machida lands a kick to the body. Another kick allows Jackson to clinch again, but they soon disengage. ?Rampage? whiffing on his punches in the last 30 seconds. He eats another leg kick from Machida.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Machida
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-10
Mike Whitman scores the round 10-9 Machida

Round 2
A knee and a kick from Machida cause ?Rampage? to tie up, where he catches Machida low with a knee. Machida shakes it off quickly and they restart in the center. Knee to the body by Jackson before they clinch and ?Rampage? scores a takedown. Jackson trying to pin Machida against the base of the cage, but Machida pops back up and takes the dominant position in the clinch. Jackson lands a hard-but-glancing shot as they break. Liver kick by Machida is followed by a solid uppercut from ?Rampage.? Machida slaps a kick to the back of Jackson?s thigh and they tie up again. Machida tosses Jackson to the canvas at the end of the round and Machida launches a kick at his head right at the buzzer, for which he apologizes immediately.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-10
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-10
Mike Whitman scores the round 10-9 Jackson

Round 3
Jackson coming with some leg kicks of his own now, but his follow-up punches are out of range. Machida stuns Jackson with a combo, sending ?Rampage? backward into the fence. Machida chases him down and scores with a few knees from the Thai plum, but Jackson fires right back with a flurry. Machida trips Jackson to the mat and lands in half-guard, where he tries to pry his right leg free and pass to Jackson?s right side. He stops trying to pass for a moment to work for a kimura on Jackson?s right arm. Machida finally passes with about 90 seconds left, and then hops into full mount. Machida lays an elbow across Jackson?s face, then postures up and spins for an armbar on Jackson?s right limb. Jackson picks him up for the slam and Machida releases the hold with 40 seconds left. Back on the feet, Machida gets underhooks and presses Jackson into the fence, then gets a waistlock and tries to drag him down. Machida drops for a leglock and pulls guard in the waning seconds.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Machida (30-28 Machida)
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Machida (30-29 Machida)
Mike Whitman scores the round 10-9 Machida (29-28 Machida)

I didn't have a dime on it. I'm a Machida fan and I watched it with 3 people that have never watched MMA before. They all asked me how Machida lost...I told them the judging sucks.

Anyone that uses past decisions to make sense of this one is a fucking idiot. Keep acceptiing shit decisions, keep voting the two party system, etc...fucking joke.

WE ALL SCORED IT FOR RAMPAGE

MMA Mania website:

MMA Mania quote:

"Machida won third round but i think Rampage won the fight"

MMAFrenzy.com scored the fight a draw

THIS WAS NOT A BULLSHIT DECISION AT ALL...not at all. I thought Rampage won, but it was close. It was not a bad decision.....it was a close decision.

As Jr11 said.......Rampage controlled the octagon in 1st 2 rounds and Lyoto ran ran and ran.

As you can see..........it was a close fight........not a bullshit decision at all.

Lyota ran like he always does. Simple as that.

I could see it going both ways.....it was close...deal with it.

Not bullshit, not even close

Fuck you if you're talking about me here. I brought the Shogun Machida fight up as an example that we don't know what will happen with the judging.

It is simple, there have been lots of bad decisions in MMA...this wasn't one of em.

Just look at the MMA media, some for Lyoto, some for Rampage and some said draw.

Sure most said Lyoto won, but it was close. This was not a bad decision at all.

It was a close fight.

That's it.

it`s over...so be it...but i have to say,if you think for a second that "octagon control"(i.e. ring generalship in boxing) is plodding forward without scoring, you seriously need to bone up on the subject......

it`s called "effective aggressiveness"...and rampage scored next to nothing in the first....he plodded...but machida did all the scoring....

lol

Well to rub it in a little more GW.......

MMA Weekly scored 1st round for Quinton.

I think you'll have to accept it was a close fight. As I said I could see it either way. It was close.

Just look at MMA media.....all over the place with the scoring.

DRAW
RAMPAGE WIN
LYOTO WIN

Watch fight again, you'll see it was close.

And in case you care........

I'd be fine with a draw, win, or loss.....it was that close.

Gotta love Ghost Kid......."bad decision" that's all he says:142smilie

This was far from "bullshit"......

it`s over......it`s just a discussion on an mma/boxing board...we`ve all been around a long time here... we`ve kicked one another`s shins before....

no hard feelings....on to the next debacle...

and special thanks to dana....for making it all possible :142smilie

......

you`re being disingenuous now,kick....mma weekly scored the fight for machida....they got the first 2 rounds mixed up....but they scored the fight for machida...

so the three major mma internet websites(mmajunkie/sherdog/mma weekly) that scored the fight rbr(so there could be no shenanigans)...in real time...as they saw the fight....they couldn`t go back and change anything...it was in black and white....

like handing in your scorecard after every round...

all....ALL..... had machida winning the fight....

goodnight, my dude...:sadwave::grins: :toast:
