Bones by death if this fight actually takes place...what kind of line will they post on this fight?

Jones -10000000

Evans +60000

haha yea, jones will be like the new gsp now

I meant that the UFC had a good idea that Jones would beat Shogun like this, thats why they already had the next fight lined up and his consent to fight a teammate.

"the bunker"
from mmajunkie...

"Jones, now the youngest title holder in UFC history, showed flashes of brilliance en route to claiming the promotion's light heavyweight title in a three-round dismantling of former champ Mauricio "Shogun" Rua".....

oh god....that`s so ridiculous it`s funny....

"flashes of brilliance"?....might be the most dominant championship beatdown in ufc history.....at leasy top 5....

I think I saw Rua tap when he hit the ground at the end
Yep, he was tapping at the end.

Don't blame him, the kid is a beast!!!

Rua was out of shape again but I don't think it would matter if it was the 23 year old Rua.

I have a feeling Jones will be good off his back but we might never find out :mj07:
I liked how he was going for the Kimura while Shogun was scrambling for the leg.
He just does shit you don't expect.
His cardio looked great as well.

Don't believe the hype, just believe what you see!!!
Jon "The real truth" Jones.

Congrats to all who believed in the Jones hype :toast:

HELL
Wow, is about all I can say. I guess thats why the line was higher than I expected. If he can continue to make weight I cant see anyone beating him. He fought a very poised fight, many times throughout the fight I thought he could have went for the kill but he picked his spots, stayed relaxed and smashed Rua. Where does Rua go from here? I dont thing Jones was hit really, perhaps he will fight in another 6 weeks.....:0corn

Here lies the sport of MMA. Pissed on by Ghost Kid, Kickserv, and Jon "Bones" Jones.

Bucs was right. I really have no clue what I'm talking about.

Luckily, this pile of money will make me fill a bit better these next few weeks while I mourn.
