i wouldn`t be the least bit shocked to hear that lytle got a transfusion after the fight....

that may be the first time i`ve seen blood pool up on a mat like that since my brother threw me head first into the edge of a piano on new years eve(it was an ass kicking extrordinaire:D).....

cote looked pretty lackluster himself...he was a bit lucky that almeida fought like he only had one lung.....

imo,they both had poor efforts...

but that jackson/ griffin fight was high drama....

"head handles" griffin(why doesn`t anybody use those ears as leverage?) has wins over shogun rua AND rampage?......

whoda thunk it?....

congrats to forest...tough dude...

Congrats on your big night Bro!!!

I think Cote and Almeida both deserved to lose :mj07:

I made out alright in the end. I broke even in UFC but I won with Holt inside the distance.

HELL
I had the fight even going to the fifth with Forrest taking it because he was the more aggressive fighter......

I know one thing, there is NO F*CKING WAY Tibau weighed 156.

Chuck beats Evans in September and will have a match with Forrest later this year, just my opinion.

Bucs...........you need to wake up and realize Pride wasn't very good.......Forest beats Rampage and Shogun and you don't even think he's top 5.........nice analysis :mj07:

And I am not sure what fight you were watching but ya better be damn sure Forest won that fight.......what fight were you watching?.......Forest won by unanamous decision yes, he did, and that was the correct decision. Are you going to tell me you thought Rampage won that fight:mj07:

Forest not top 5 in the division!!......Who does he have to beat for you to put him in top 5!!! Might be one of the dumbest comments I have read on here in a long time:mj07: How can anyone possibly say he isn't in the top 5:scared

Rampage is so overrated, everyone just jumped on his nuts because he has charisma and can make a show. Rua was injured, period. I give Griffin all the credit in the world, because he's won. However, he's going to be a short lived champion.

I'm willing to bet just about my life savings that he loses his next match if they put him against a legit contender. Ever since Rampage won the title and all these people I know got on his nuts, it just disgusted me.

LET WANDY FIGHT HIM, PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE

I could live with this situation....

Chuck vs Forrest after Evans fight

Wandy vs Machida?? and winner gets Chuck, cuz Chuck would KTFO Forrest.

The only thing is, Wandy doesn't really want to fight Machida. Not that he's ducking him, but Wandy thinks Machida could pull a Tito Ortiz match against him, and we all know Wandy wants FIREWORKS.

However, I think if anyone can de-rail Machida, it's guys like Chuck and Wandy.

Good job kick.

I gained so much MORE respect for Rampage after the fight because he NEVER said a word about the decision. Just said there is a 50% chance you got to get your ass beat. He looks the part of an MMA fighter but doesn't talk it. 100% CLASS GUY.

I understand the Forrest decision, but have always believed to be the champ you must beat the champ.
Round 1 was close and Rampage landed bigger blows including the final one to end the round.
Round 2 Griffing nice knee buckle kick and takedown with ring control for all 5 minutes. My issues was he really didn't do a whole lot with it punch wise so hard to give him 10-8 in my opinion.
Round 3 Very close as Griffin landed more but Rampage landed MUCH bigger busting him open.
Round 4 I guess noone saw this the same way I did. Rampage beat Griffin down for entire round.Only thing Griffin did was try for desperate submissions and got dropped on his head for it.
Round 5 Rampage just didn't do much. Griffin 10-9.
So I had Rampage winning 48-47 or a 47-47 draw if you give Forrest a 10-8 2nd.

And you know Griffin knew he was about to get SCREWED(In his mind) when he heard the scores. He would have cried a river about the score unlike Rampage.

I think it was very clearly a Forrest win. I thought at worst going in to the 5th it was tied and clearly Forrest won the 5th. The fight was very similar to the Liddell Jardine fight to me. The tops guys have to know that they need to push the action a little more. You can't just try and land the big bombs here and there.

Forrest will be a tough fight for anyone. My only problem with him is his lack of power in a division that is loaded with power.

Overall I thought it was a bad night of fights.

oh yeah, I would be shocked if Tibau came back clean on his test for roids.

No prob Chuck...glad to help:SIB

and Kegray.....have to disagree with ya...I thought Forest clearly won that fight, and you have to respect Forest big time, that dude can take a punch:scared He is #1 in the division and deserves to be #1.

Also, most MMA guys are good guys, so not sure why you were surprised by Rampage? Most guys would say the same thing. Also, Rampage shouldn't be upset with the decision, he knew he lost, simple as that. But yes you gotta love Rampage, great guy no question about it. Rampage was #1 in the division and Forest beat him, enough said.

Wasn't suprised by Rampage class act after the fight. Just more impressed with him.He is one of my top guys to cheer for because his trash talking is more fun in nature and treats people with respect.

Like I said, I dont have a problem with Forrest getting win just thought one judge would see it different. You really can't say that was a clear cut beatdown of any sort. To only give Rampage 1 round by one judge. Tell me he didn't win 3 and 4. I can see judges giving Forrest 1,2,and 5.

And I still say Round 2 was no way a 10-8. Watched it again. FORREST WAS VERY SLOPPY.

Keg you saw the same fight as me. And the ten other guys on the other site who didn't bet it. Rampage took the title from Liddel destroying him. Forrest gets all close rounds doing nothing but putting a little hurt on Rampage knee and not a mark on Rampage face. The ten eight round i gave Forrest im not even sure i should have done that. What exactly did Forrest do to Rampage when he was on the top? What he did is give Rampage the chance to rest for 4 minutes to let his knee heal. Not even sure he landed anything. All he did was control him and that was fine with Rampage. Taking a title away like that is a joke.

weepaul u are right. Cotye and the other clown should have both been given a loss:mj07: . Quote of the night. Might have to email Dana and ask if their is a possibility we can have decisions like that.

MMA caters to the white, tatted up, skate boarders on steroids crowd - the typical nit wits that hang out at the local 7-11 and think they're bad.

White, and likable "aw shucks" Griffin is loved by the fans and will always get the benefit of the doubt. UFC would rather have Caucasian champs and if a guy like Forrest can grind it out, and not do much, for 25 minutes, he'll get the nod. Ridiculous.:SIB

Well, I had a shitty day yesterday.

Went on a first date with a new gal that I met at the park a week ago (beautiful mixed girl with D cups) and it ends up being a total flop. It was like pulling teeth to get her to conversate, she complained alot, and the only good part of the date was the cleavage she showed. Then I get home and find that I lost 800$ on my Rampage/Pacquiao parlay.

Damn,it cant get any worse.

The more Sponge talks the more I think Rampage won.:mj07:
Keep talking and maybe in a day or two Kickserv will see the light of the cool kids.:mj07:

I respect and like the way Griffin fights, just didn't think he did enough for the belt. At no point was Rampage in danger of losing the fight with exception of a triangle attempt. Rampage rocked him multiply times. MANY of Griffin's kicks didn't score as they were blocked(with exception to the ones 1st 2 rounds to the left leg).

IS ANYONE SAYING THEY WERE MORE IMPRESSED BY GRIFFIN STANDUP???? I saw uppercuts doing damage like crazy.
FACT IS, this fight was judged based on ONE KICK that changed the 2ndR. It wasn't even a good kick, it just made his knee go in the wrong direction.
WHAT DID GRIFFIN DO IN ROUND 1 or 5(granted he won round 5 because Jackson did little to nothing til the end) that made you say we have a new champion??????

i`ll tell you,kramden.........i disagree on the decision...i thought rampage had way to many long stretches of inactivity in the bout....and man,is he horrible on his back....

BUT....if you went over to the forum at mma weekly and read some of those comments....listened to some of those juvenile discussions...akin to kids pulling one another`s hair...unfunny and much like the crap you`d read in the fan section of some teen magazine(tiger beat?),i totally agree with you.....

it amazes me that the fan base seems to be made up of around 75% kids with extremely low i.q.`s...

i go over there to catch the prelim results, but other than that, that forum is practically unreadable...

mma is very enjoyable, particulalrly from the gambling angle, but,i`m shocked that a brutal, tough sport like this attracts so many...???????..."wimpy kids"(trying to think of the right phraseology)...

 ...i think you hit the nail on the head with that tattooed skateboarder comment....well said..

The reason it attracts so many punkass nerds is because most sports enthusiasts/professional athletes will agree that MMA athletes are some of the most mentally and physically tough and dangerous people around. These ****ing goober "noobs" think that if they wear Affliction/Tapout clothing and follow the sport that it will give them some credibility as being tough. They project this image that they are MMA fighters themselves.
