looking at sadollah itd at +171.....have him in a par or two straight....looks to me like the ufc is throwing sadollah another bone.....ludwig has campaigned an awful lot at 155....and has been stopped in 10 of his 11 losses......


sadollah`s not a world beater...but i`m getting the feeling that the ufc likes having him around....he`s personable....but he`s not beating the upper echelon 170 pounders(hendricks/kim).......so they`re feeding him favorable match-ups(baroni/sobotta/d.johnson)......

sadollah`s pace and muay thai are strong points....and if he hurts you,he can sub you...he`s not a big finisher...but he should be the stronger guy here......i can see him wearing on ludwig in what should be a stand-up fight and maybe taking him down at some point and subbing him.........small play...the +171 seems like a decent offering......

i`ll say this though...most of ludwig`s losses have been to excellent opposition...the guy`s been in tough,no doubt...but he consistently loses to them..

Might up my Cerrone bet but right now I'm comfortable at 2. I think he'll be able to keep the fight standing and from there it's his fight to lose. His bjj is slick enough that if it goes to the ground I think he'll be ok.

A guy could be 1-12 on take down attempts but he will win the round. The guy who defended the take downs gets no credit!

I agree with you as far as Lytle keeping this standing even though it's against his best interests. He did it before with Marcus Davis and the whole "the first on who takes it to the ground is a pussy" agreement, and that ended up as FOTN.

But Lytle is tough as chit and has never been KO'd in 10 years. Hardy's left hand is completely overrated, and lytles chin is as solid as they come, lytle could put his hands behind his back close his eyes and give hardy a clean shot, I still dont think he would even drop him.

I believe the value here is in Hardy to win via decision. Lytle is the brink of retirement and Hardy is young, has a recognition and a British fanbase, plus he was signed to a 6 fight contract after the GSP bout. It looks like one of those scenarios where the "incompetent" judges make an "incompetent" decision that benefits the UFC.

Im off the fight. This one is not even worth betting. Some good points in this thread. I realize that i was on a guy with a suspect chin and no ground game against a guy with a good chin and a ground game. Just not sure Lytle uses the ground game.

It's like the Daley Woodley fight. Woodley got I think 2 takedowns, might've only been 1...and he did NO DAMAGE. Even got reversed, but layed on Daley the entire fight, yet won. All the serious/effective damage was done by Daley. These fucking refs need to learn how to stand up fights quicker.
