brahmer may have taken the 11th but it's moot...all he has to do is survive the 12th..

brahmer finishes strong but very tired...i think he wins 118-110 or 117-111. he was in deep shit in the 9th or 10th...hes been thoroughly exposed....there are several fighters that would be more than happy to take his title...Mack, Johnson, Dawson, Cloud, Pascal just to name a few.

Holy cow! That Russian guy was one tough son of a gun, but real guts from Braehmer in a storming last-round surge.

I remember Max Kellerman, when he was studio host for ESPN Wed. and Friday Night Fights, constantly talking in disgusted tones about "boring European fighters with their boring styles". Three of the most dramatic and exciting fights I have seen in years took place in Europe this year, all-Euro fights between Erdei-Fragomeni, Stieglitz-Balzsay and now Braehmer-Sukhotsky. (Maybe throw in Fragomeni vs Wlodarczyk, too.) My God, Braehmer was hanging by a thread in that 10th round -- some referees would have stopped the fight.

2nd that.Braehmer did show fortitude after being on the brink. And the Russian kid was strong and steady. kept plugging, pecking away and almost hit pay dirt when napping Braehmer took that onslaught in the 10th.

Thx Graham,

I had a busy morning taking my daughter to the airport but had I any time this morning I would have dumped Brahmer in a parlay and probably would have painted my shorts in the 10th. He was life and death there.

My only play today is the under on Pav. I hope he's not too rusty. Not a bundle but will make for a decnt week should he get espino out early

I think Pavlik will get the job done Romi
I took under 7.5 as well
was hoping for a PAVLIK ITD prop, but I don't see one anywhere
5dimes finally today leaked out a Valdez-Cermeno line and a Soto-Chavez line

only place I have seen a Soto-Chavez line
but no over-under unfortunately
Soto straight is -1200 for those wanting to parlay him with something

I think Chavez is all done and won't last long
he is tough, but his body is failing him
although he did go the route with David Diaz
maybe the books are doing me a favor by not listing a round prop

my guess, though, is Soto by KO

Agree on the Soto call. The guy is one of my favorite fighters. He's not the best out there but the guy has all my respect and then some. I think he does a number on Chavez and was even willing to buy it @-1000

Too bad ref didn't stop the fight there , would be a sexy under 9.5 winner by around 10 seconds to go :mj07: I assume this gets stopped atleast 50 % of the time with Br?hmer sitting on the ropes not to fall down .
Hopefully Pavlik gets it done inside 7 rounds .
