I like the under 8.5 in the Guerrero fight tonight at plus odds. Findley has been durable, but he is a bit slow and top heavy. I think he has a hard time with speed, and Guerrero is very fast. Findleys only stoppage loss was to Dirrell.

Adjaho is an enigmatic fighter. At 130 and 135 he looked good and skilled against Acosta, losing a split and scoring 2 knockdowns. He was then poised to win the fight against DeMarco, before he confused himself into losing. Since he has moved all the up to welter, and even came in at 149 here. He seems to have lost something, in it for the paychecks now. Porter should take care of him, but at huge odds I dont know. Porter has shown some limitations. Adjaho could be tougher than expected for him. 5 bucks to win 80 sounds a lot better than 350 to win 10.

Two good old-fashion pickem' fights tomorrow in London! I like even money fights.

I like Theophane and Watson in tomorrow's fights. I would not be very surprised if both went the other way, but still, I like both quite a bit. One kicker is that the house fighters are Daws and O'Donnell. This certainly does not help, but I have seen Hennessey fighters close on the cards quite a bit. Perhaps he's a fairer bloke than you're average promoter??? Both fights could well be close scraps, with many rounds fairly even.

I like Theophane as a fighter. Road warrior. He has shown consistent improvement over the years. Two excellent performances against Danny Garcia and Delvin Rodriguez. Both fights could have gone either way, he went 1-1. He did have a maj. dec win against a novice-type in Germany recently...not a good result on paper, but maybe the kid (from Afghanistan) is better than realized, or maybe scoring was off. Anyone know anything about the circumstances of this fight?

Against Daws... If Theophane fights his rough inside type of scrap, I think he can bust Daws up. Daws looked good last time out, but this kid did have only 9 fights. Daws can be up and down, and I think he's reached his level. Theophane could actually be a fighter going places, and if he is he will win this fight.

Watson-O'Donnell. I thought Watson won the first...barely. He had a long lay-off before this fight, and did not perform well. He has been very active since. I think he is embarrassed about this loss and will put in well this time. O'Donnell just seems frail to me. Stylish boxer but just not strong enough. I say Watson gets his payback.

That's it... way too many people are picking Donaire to win, which means Montiel is going to suprise us all.

Montiel for the win!

Margarito looks much better without that devil beard. Good to see him out and not a leper anymore.

One of Karass's sparring partners, on an Elle Sechback vid said Karass is as "tough as balls."

And he is. Doesn't look overly impressive to look at him but he really is a bad mofo.

And I think he's going to get over on the chiseled Jones tonight. Perhaps the extra 2 rounds will be a benefit.

Don't know how this will play out. Nonito is talented. But Montiel has the look of a winner.

I think this pictures mean little... Montiel's eyes have a more tired drawn look in my opinion and this ain't no abs contest. Holyfield had an extremely confident look prior to Bowe 1, means zilch till they're in the ring.. Who has Montiel last struggled with- Gonzalez and Valdez. Longer , lankier fighters...like Donaire. Donaire made Sidorenko look like an undersized midget. If Donaire made 112 to crush Darchinyan not so long ago, I doubt he struggled much more to make 118.

Oh, forgot about Holyfield look. I'll start going for the less confident look and the fighter that struggled at the scales. Perhaps that's how we should look at it. Good call on the eyes. Spot on.

"the bunker"
do they try and play some kind of psychological games with the fans at these weigh-ins?...
why do these guys look the same height?...i`m quite sure they aren`t....

if anybody can pull up a long shot of the pose down, post it if you don`t mind....

has to be a shoe issue...or montiel`s standing on something...

"the bunker"
a few things i noticed....

i think that donaire has been an absolute master at cutting weight...he looks so much bigger than his opponents in his fights...but he appears to be having some problems this time(judging by the weigh-in delay)...i`ve heard he says he`s moving up in weight again after this fight...

and i think that montiel `s weakeness is more with lefties than taller fighters...it`s his feet...he has a wide stance and for some reason can`t find range vs lefties...lefties are definitely his achilles heel...

from what i`ve read, donaire is a natural lefty....if i were him,i`d definitely do some switching up...that might be the difference between a life and death struggle and a comfortable win...

whoever wins, this is the real deal...about as good as it gets...

and jones/soto karass as the co-feature?....if it`s half the fight the first one was,we`re rollin` in clover...

Jones should win this fight easily if he fights smart - Soto Karass couldn't beat a dead man last time.
