Allen Conyers +490 (single pop)

Comes off a two year layoff and dominates a undefeated prospect. His previous two losses were to Said Ouali (legit guy) and he put Kirkland on the canvas before getting KTFO.

I have two problems with Molina 1) He has no pop and 2) he open admits that he is in a money shortfall thus the fight tonight off the short layoff

Worth a small play IMHO

Friday night Fights

Friday night Fights

Quillin-Brinkley OVER 9.5 (-115) - medium
Brinkley is durable and seasoned enough and both have been going rounds over the past few years. I like this fight to go the distance.

J. Brinkley (+400) - smallish
I think Brinkley is very live here. Fight is in his hometown of Reno. He's done well to up his game and I now regard him as a serious pro. Quillin coming back after spell of inactivity. Brinkley is his toughest opponent. I see this fight as much closer to even.

Molina-Conyers UNDER 8.5 (+240) - smallish
Playing the odds here, as I think this play is also close to even. Conyers can crack. He's also got chin issues - stopped 3 times. He's only been past 6 once - in his last fight. Molina without many ko's but I think he's settling down nicely into a high pressure style that could wear Conyers down. Worth the risk from what I can tell.

Good luck guys.
More Saturday stuff to come.

Molina also missed weight by 1.5 pounds. Never a good sign.

He is a better fighter than Conyers, but I don't count the old man out.

Molina has been bet far too high in this bout - the opening -365 was more accurate.

Kid went from being underrated a few years back to way overrated now.

Quillin-Brinkley

Quillin-Brinkley

All Quillen has to do is smack the body and Brinkley will be gone. Always been his achilles heal. He can't take it in the bread basket.

However, if Quillen screws around and doesn't focus in on the belly early, Brinkley can work his way into the bout. Particularly in Reno, where the crowd will be roaring him on.

I think Roach will have Kid Chocolate prepared.

I will say this, though, about Jesse Brinkley.

A few years back, he basically had five straight losses (the Bonsante decision on the Contender was dreadful). Dropping fights to guys like Spina and Robin Reid. I never EVER thought he would make the second career push that he has.

He and his promoters in Reno deserve a lot of credit. They have gotten REALLY far in the game with what he's got. Impressive for sure.

ESPN3.com really is the fucking worst

It stutters all the time
the audio cuts out almost every commercial break
and in between fights, instead of in studio news, we get a blank screen

these guys are killing boxing....just killing it

painful to sit and watch

Past posting here but I took molina straight up. Also on the over on Brink/Quillan. Hopefully Quillan doesn't drop too many hooks to the body and it goes rds. Congrats under and molina backers :toast:
