Softest I have ever seen Brinkley look

Damn no wonder he wouldn't pose for weigh-in shots

and he gets rocked in the first round !

Little Zab dance - he survives the round, but he is fucked.

Brinkley looks extremely slow in there

but he landed a few right hands in the second round

enough to get the crowd chanting Jesse Jesse

He is gonna have to knock this guy out - Quillen is too big and strong and dominating the majority of the action so far

Brinkley has a small welt under his left eye already

On replay, Quillen lands a massive shot, and Cortez inexplicably grabs Quillen, then lets him go and the action continues

30 more seconds of huge punching and Cortez steps in, covering a cowering Brinkley in the corner

Kid Chocolate cashes, UNDER cashes

MAN OH MAN too bad there wasn't pictures of Brinkley available

He looked terribly terribly out of shape

Quillen did what he was supposed to do BUT its difficult to judge a prospect when the opponent shows up looking like that.

I guess Lucian Bute took all the fight out of Jesse.

Still smarting a bit over Brinkley's display. It wasn't the loss so much, as his abysmal performance. Like Ghost said, it looks clearly like Bute took the fight out of Brinkley again. Guess that's why he was +400. The over turned out to be a bad play.

I do like the over in the Barker-Spada fight. Got it at 9.5 and 11.5. Barker is a quick shifty boxer, but he does seem to lack real power. Spada never stopped.

I was not to happy about the early ending too. It seems to be that Brinkley really did not put enaught effort in the preperation for the fight...

On Barker-Spada; mabye it will be a much closer fight then the odds are suggesting... :0corn

Barker-Spada

Barker-Spada

Well, Spada's last two outings were 8 round affairs, versus what might be classified as questionable opposition. Both times in Italy of course. He did do 12 rounds 2x versus Zbik which speaks to LotL's comment that it may be closer than advertised. It would seem Spada is hand picked to help Barker get back in the picture, as he says he plans to do. Barker had hip surgery of some sort? If I can parlay Barker with something today that would be my only option, but not at -300 and better straight up. He might have had hip surgery by the same guy that did Jim Lampley's(had to redo it 3x).
