One of my sportsbooks has Marquez at -130 and another one of my books has him at +130. I like Marquez but I think this fight is too close to call. If anything I guess I would take the under.

weekend picks so far...

weekend picks so far...

Hoon Kim-Diaz UNDER 7.5 (-185) - medium Didn't get the kind odds, but still a solid play IMO. I think Kim will work over Diaz well before this. Would not be surprised to see the ending come 1-3

2parlay - Hoon Kim, Manfredo Jr. - medium Also not great odds, but I really like both guys here. Manfredo should be able to outbox plodding Hernandez.

R. Marquez (+120) - medium Vasquez seemed really slow and stiff against Priolo, who is a very fragile journeyman. Can't go on this alone, but I think - either thong or zerwas said - at this point Marquez has just a little more in the tank.

Still looking some things over. May add another pick or two on Sat.?

Dogs

Always fun to drop a little, if you think the long odd has got a shot... both plays small for fun, and will not effect bottom line too much in the case of losses...

Kali Meehan (+475) Grham touched on all points in his column. Meehan enigmatic and I'm not betting on him, as much as against Chagaev, who looks to me to have lost mass, strength, and appears a diminished fighter.

H.Velazquez (+700) A bit of a reach maybe, but I am not sold on Tajbert. Maybe he is coming into his own, but he had a few rough struggles early with guys he was supposed to whip. He was boderline outclassed by Gulyakevich, but then outclassed the guy who made Gulya look like a weak flailing kid in the schoolyard?? Taj getting alot of credit for hometown win vs. young Mexican champ, but I think Velazquez is a touger proposition. We know what we're gonna get from him...solid crafty veteran, not world class. He was tooth and nail with Joksan Hernandez not too long ago, and we know he's a tough guy. Taj probably gets the nod in Germany, but my play says that it comes touger than expected.

Hi Guys,

I'm a new poster at the forums but I've been reading the board for the last six months and thought I could join in.

I'm usually pretty good with picks.

This week I'm going with:

Mares by SD (tough fight to call)
OVER for above.
R. Marquez mid - late stoppage.
under 9.5 for above.
Kim by Ko
Manfredo/Hernandez OVER.

Can't believe sportsbook.com opened Marquez at +170. What a steal.

Good luck guys.

Welcome to the board Jack!!! New insight is always welcome!! I like alot of your picks.

Marquez +160
I wish to Fuck I could have got those odds for Marquez.
I will be sitting this one out.
I picked the correct winners in the first 2 fights and made a pretty bundle on Vasquez at +260.
I think Vasquez is finished and Marquez beats him in a much easier fashion than their other fights.

I DID bet Mares at -120. I just think this kid has the "IT" Factor and this will be his coming out party.

I am going against the grain and betting miniscule on Diaz tonight at +410.
I just can't get over how Kim was 5 seconds away from being stopped by GoGo.

GoGo is dog shit with no punch and almost took Kim out in 1 round.

I made this bet at Diamond soooooooo it has No Chance of winning :mj07:

Good luck boys!!!! :toast: :toast:

Had a miserable week at work so I didn't have time to took a proper look at the fights.

Took Tajbert at bad odds and Marquez at +125.

Regarding Foreman, it beets me how he is dog in this fight. I would slightly favor him as he takes Cotto at right time. Took him at +210 2 months ago and I was very surprised odds didn't move much. Glad that it seems board is on the same side.

Welcome to new guys. Board looks better every week. Wouldn't mind to hear from nj again and from frank more often :toast:

Victoria's Secret
thinking abner by dec, too

he couldnt knock out that argentinian, marchiano

and hit him with everything and the kitchen sink

diasdado gabi is another story, i remember he had weight problems before the abner fight

abner in his flow with combos is a thing of beauty
