Ladbrokes has Berto-Urango not to go distance @ 2,5. Since over under 11,5 in most books is even money, there is a nice value in that bet.

heroic by ahmed, disappointing for edwards. the guy has pencil legs, his head spins all over the place, and he couldnt get him out. a better fighter would have kept his distance, threw less but more accurate punches.

terrible start

Yeah, I'm loosing the same bet. Ref looked to stop this in round 8. Edwards punches looking strong but they aren't. He landed at least 60 clean hooks.

to explain, angulo is hittable. cintron showed great heart vs margo 2, which we now know has a huge black cloud over it.

margo and angulo have the same trainer, citnron was able to land bombs on margo at will, we dont know if angulo can take them. maybe cintron's resistance isnt that bad, maybe margo's punches hurt more than we knew.

martinez is the wrong style for cintron, who is hesitant and insecure. angulo is slower and more plodding

+300 cintron, probably mid-round ko

Well, tomorrow the day is here. I finally get my payback for this:

http://www.madjacksports.com/forum/showthread.php?t=357846&highlight=cintron+martinez

LARGE
Angulo to beat Crybaby Faker

LARGE
Angulo ITD over Crybaby Faker

I am sinking or swimming with El Perro. I think he puts Crybaby Faker thru the canvas within 6 rounds. Body shots are going to break this punk in half. The tears will flow.

And its still not going to make up for it, because Sergio Martinez was a WAY better price on Valentine's Day than Angulo is here.

With the Finland card in the trash, this will be my only bet for tomorrow. I think Berto wins a decision over Urango. But I am putting all my anger and money (dangerous combination) against Crybaby Faker.

Good luck everybody !

Ghost, I consider you a better capper than I am, but I think you might be letting your emotions get the better of you here.

Martinez and Angulo are entirely different fighters. We've seen Cintron land bombs at will against Margarito, and he went 6 grueling rounds before being legitimately knocked out, not just quitting. And of course now we know Margo may have cheated.

Angulo's chin is questionable. If Cintron lands the same bombs vs Angulo as he did vs Margo, it's probably lights out for Angulo. He's far more predictable and stationary than Martinez, and a worse counter-puncher.

I too think Angulo will win, but it is a big risk. I have a sizable play on Cintron here.

I just got the chance to see some weigh in pics of Berto and Urango.
http://fightfan.com/2009/05/berto-and-urango-ripped-and-ready-for-welterweight-war/
http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=144520

Both Berto and Urango look to be in good shape.
Interestingly Urango weighed more (146.5) tthan Berto (145.75)

I said before that I would give Urango a shot in this fight, if he isnt dwarfed physically, and it certainly doesnt look this way. ;)

The logical outcome is Berto by decision, if he moves around with his jab and clinches (very important to conserve energy) he can win this fight with his speed. I'm sure that he will get hit though at one point, but Urango -strong as he looks- is still unproven at 147 lbs...

I havent seen Urangos fight against that African Nasser. If he got hurt that badly, he might be in trouble against Berto.
He has been fine in every other fight though.

There are a couple of options IMO.
Berto by ko pays close to +300 which is a good number (Evan suggests a small play here).

Berto by decision pays less at some sites than over 11.5 (and barely more at some others) so thats not really a viable option.

Urango best shot is to win by ko, but it has been bet down at 5dimes to +338, which is less than what you get straight at the same site (+340).

Urango by decision @+2850 or the like is the unlikeliest scenerio, but at those odds it looks like the best play here. I remember that a lot of people on this site didnt give Urango a shot to win a decision against Ngoudjou and he did. (I know it will be a lot tougher in this fight, but its definetely possible if he hurts Berto but cannot finish him).
