I'm on board for Harris and Lopez...both doggies have some bite here. Both favorites have been in relatively soft and I expect at least one of these to hit. Good luck gents! :toast:

Stunner: Harris shocks Aguilera

Comebacking heavyweight Maurice ?Sugar Moe? Harris (24-14-2, 10 KOs) upset IBF #15 rated Nagy Aguilera (16-4, 11 KOs), taking a twelve round unanimous decision on Friday night at the Grand Casino in Hinkley, Minnesota. Aguilera was the aggressor, but Harris outboxed him down the stretch to claim a 117-111, 117-111, 115-113 win and the vacant USBA title.

Gonna take this day by day once again:

Maurice Harris (+205) - large I'm lovin' this play! Who is Nagy Aguilera anyway? To me, he is just a green prospect who has beaten no one of note. (An entirely washed up Maskaev has to be classified as no one by that point). Aguilera has already shown his limitations. Harris on the other hand, is a highly skilled fluid boxer for a big man. His only problem over the years has been himself. Taking fights on very short notice, coming in under prepared and heavy. When he's got his game on he's hard to beat, and has upset some good guys. Harris is making a last run and seems to have his shit together. He's looked good in 3 comeback fights against journeyman, barely losing around. His weight is good, coming down for every fight. He's got a good team behind him and is well aware that this is it for him. I think this line is off, and see Harris winning going away. 117-111, or Harris may even stop a tired Aguilera late.

Patrick Lopez (+160) - medium rare I see P.Brewer as an entirely untested and pretty green prospect. He was a good, but not elite level amateur. P.Lopez was an Olympian himself, and has been well tested as a pro, showing good consistency and steady improvement. I think he will take Brewer into deep water and prove to be the much more experienced pro when he does.

Holm-Clampitt UNDER 9.5 (+350) - very small Clampitt never ko'd and Holm seemingly without much power, plus just 2 minute rounds. But I think the skill difference will be so apparent that we see a mercy stoppage after 7-8 rounds, with Clampitt taking a terrible and unnecessary beating. Clampitt also on the comback trail after having a baby. (Something I don't usually have to consider when capping a fight). She will give it her tough-girl best, but I can see her saying enough is enough when the ass-kicking is apparent.

Good luck guys!!! More Saturday picks to come!

Very well done Brother :0074 :0074

Now, should we all do the unthinkable and bet on the lady'd fight going under :mj07:

I hope someone put those first 2 picks in a parlay!!!

Wow!! Hope that's a fact! Thanks for the update Oddessa.

Holly Holm (28-1-3, 8 KOs) scored a first round TKO @ 1:50 over Jaime Clampitt (21-4-1, 7 KOs), of Canada/Rhode Island.
