Tough, gritty fight. Scores:

117-111 Rahimov
115-113 Thompson
118-110 Rahimov

I'd say 8-4, 7-5 Rahimov. After seeing what I did, I'm not too disappointed fight was scratched. Rahimov is tough, but a little guy, and looks beatable vs. right opposition.

Dapudong up next!!!!!!!

i hope the judge that scored it for thompson retired for the evening...

I think Dapudong is holding his own, down 3-2. Uicab will slow down.

End of 10. I've got Dapudong up by a point. I think he's taken over now. Uicab dog tired, lunging and holding. But it is in Mexico, and certainly not the blowout I anticipated. Nervous.

Well, I think Dapudong won. I thought he won the 11th barely, and the 12th clearly....but being in Mexico, I'm not expecting any favors. I'll feel lucky to get this one.

Well, I think you saw it more accurately Weasel. I think there is little question that 'my guy' influences the way I watch and score a fight. It's hard to be impartial when you've got cake on it.

Even still though, I think 'effective aggression' accounts for something. Dong dropped alot of the early rounds, but I thought from the midpoint on, Uicab was just flailing and Dong was placing his shots alot better. A lot of the rounds were close though, which nearly always spells disaster for the away guy.

Can't say Uicab didn't deserve it. He fought very hard.

I cant copy and paste pics worth a damn but Shane looking a tad like Glen Johnson in the Fightnews photo. He's looking just a bit soft in the upper body. I'm liking the wager on Mora even more now with the wt issue.

If anybody has a result from Argentina, please post!

Hernandez-Anchondo up for grabs after 3. 5.5 looking good old dirty. Anchondo is getting off first. Seems to have found himself a little bit. Let's see how it plays out.

G-Zus!!! I jinxed it big time! Hernandez drops him in 4th. Ref steps in too early and it's over.

Thanks Weaz. It stings no doubt. After doing my research I was real confident about this one.
