Tee Times.
Considering the Masters is a relatively small field the tee times seem uneven to me.
Take the O'Meara group playing at 11.15 and 8.30 compared to the Langer group at 1.49 and 11.04
If you subtract the differences 11.15 - 11.04 = 11 mins and 1.49 - 8.30 = 329 mins, that means
O'Meara'a group have a 328 minute earlier start over 2 days... 5 hours 28 mins.
In the past I remember talk of the course being harder later in the day as the greens dry out and get faster.

In the event of play actually taking place as scheduled (no weather delays) is this an unfair advantage for some?

I heard it was going to rain in the afternoon today(Thurs) and the rain yesterday eased the greens, but by end of day they were back to 'marble finish'.
If rain is late, the early guys get hard greens, late guys wait and get softened greens..
You are right that the times look out though..There must be some sort of system in it. But I think that is another thread for a quieter week...

He(or she) will be gutted to have missed the 80/1 !
?28k less if he wins, just for the win part!

Forgive Me Forum For I Have Sinned;

I do not know what came over me but I have been tempted by thoughts of Love - there was a sort of urging when I saw 52's without Woods at Betfair.

In my defence I have played to very small stakes.

Also added Azinger at 100/1.

1st Rd 3 Balls

Stadler -v- Appleby/ Harrington 3/1

Azinger -v- Garcia/Toms 3/1.

Izawa - Woods/ Dickerson 10/3

Best of Luck to all.

Adding some late stragglers as $plays has lined some props.
Had 3 there I liked on 1st rd scoring prop all overs.Monty and Lehman @ -140 each at 72 and 72 1/2 respectively and Faldo @
-145/72 1/2.Considering the weather, new course setup and heavy chalk just decided to play one and see how course plays today.
Faldo over 72 1/2 -145 @ $plays
Liked this one the best cause he hasn't broke 72 here in last 5 years and not getting any younger.

Norman to miss cut +110 @ $plays
Liked this when Stan played it and now have good odds.

Also adding Faldo to miss cut -115 @ Cascade
See above

Note $plays has best line up currently on Tiger placing under 4 1/2 @ -105 for any that like it and didn't get on opening line.

Bmad T-time is odd, however think they put Langer and Estes last on account of their nortorious slow play (poor Maruyama) and did not want to send them out early next day and back the whole field up.

Stanley I hate to tell you this but Arnie is already +12 through 11 holes. He has 4 double bogies and 4 bogies. He is on pace right now to a +20 score or 92 - 3 over the 88.5 score.

With any luck he'll either find something on the back 9 or more likely just withdraw before getting to #18.

Don't want to cast aspertions on Sports.com, as I've never had any problems with them, but when I put my ?2K on (not really) I want to know that the bookie I'm playing with is able to pay out ?150K....despite their (many) failings, you can be as certian as you can be with a UK book that you'll be paid at Ladbrokes.

Looks like Calc needs electric shock treatment somewhere other than his feet! :D ;)

Hope Woosy carries on the way he's going too, maybe his back is out after all! :)

By the way Palmer is now showing as 89 - I'm sure it was 88 earlier

Good old Armie

BTW, I'm going out on a limb now and I'll say the winner will be either Mickelson or Garcia.

Frustrating thing is that I bet on Love for every one of the last 5 tournaments and this week I said "no mass". Of course he is leading  Fortunately it's love so he'll choke :p
