21 year old handles DLH in sparring
21 year old handles DLH in sparring
"Ortiz wouldn't admit it at first, but in so many words he eventually confessed to handling De La Hoya in a recent sparring session. "
Ortiz is certainly a bigger dude than Paq- I would call him a large light welterweight who at 21 will likely grow into a welterweight within 2 years or so. He is a bit hittable though and needs some defensive work. Not many of us get a chance to beat up the boss/CEO. There were rumors about Ortiz being sent home and apparently they were true. Now we know where the shiner came from.
This guy Hauser as many of you know is one of the better, well-researched boxing writers and he suscribes to the theory that most here do - that size matters.

Paq is growing on me as a very giving, kind-hearted person and I happen to see De La Hoya as a Me, Me, Me type , completely full of shite, say anything to sell. I'd hate to see the financial carnage of all the big DLH backers here, but I'd love to see Paq make DLH quit in the last round. That being said I bet with my head and I'm parlayed in on DLH around -125 or so and have to decide this week to guarantee some profits, or stick with all the "size queens" :mj07: here
