Clearly you are correct. Maybe I've just got too many friends that will be affected by this. They've been told to report to work on Monday and Tuesday to facilitate an orderly shutdown and then they will be without a paycheck. I have a friend whose business sells a good bit of its product to the military and he's been asked to cancel any incoming orders he can. His business will survive but he will be laying people off.

None of those people can really afford to be without a paycheck and that is what sucks. The hidden vig of your "win at all costs" mentality is that real people will suffer because of it (though not the politicians, they still get paid).

That is what frustrates me here. DACA can be handled after the fact, but the dems have a chip in the game and feel they must use it, no matter the cost. That just won't ever make sense to me, but I concede, you are right.

Nothing is more important than DACA, until you find another bargaining chip you can hold honest Americans hostage over. Then DACA will be a distant memory and the plight of the Polar Bear will be all that matters.
