Well you can't kick Rampage out for making movie with bad timing after you allowed him to continue after his road rage incident and then just chalked it up to drinking to much Red Bull.

Also, not sure what Rampage is getting for the flick but probably is in the neighborhood of $1M+.
One of the main characters in a movie with Liam Neisen.
I am guessing the studios expect somewhere around $111M+ which is what The Dukes Of Hazard made.
Let's see The Love Boat do that.

Sponge you couldn't be more wrong. Rampage taking that role is a disgrace, I would kick Rampage out of the UFC if I were Dana. Oh and by the way he ain't making millions to play that role. Anyway, give your head a shake Sponge, you are way way off. Ultimate Fighter filmed 4 months ago with Rampage and Evans. Fight to be held in Memphis (Rampage home) and this dick head Rampage takes a movie role. What the fuck are you talking about Sponge:scared

You can't possibly be taking Rampage side. Want to be in a movie fine, but not when you have a scheduled fight. Kick Rampage out, I mean how can you possibly side with Rampage. Wake up Sponge, you are on lots of crack if you don't see this.

And what about Rashad, major disrespect there as well.

Fuck you Rampage:nono:

You are talking for you as a fan. Bottom line these type of things come up and out of any field of work in America i can't blame a fighter for going for the easy money. One punch can end Rampages career. Sure it sucks for the fans and Dana but until he pays these guys like they should be, this is what is gonna happen. Dana is talking about buying that third skyscraper in one video while raking in about 100 million for a pay per view but somehow only finds 8 grand to give the polish Canadian for his last fight. Lets not forget why Huerta left. The fifty dollars he was getting for show up fees wasn't getting him gas and food. Fitch same thing. Why u think GSP has an agent now and Dana was furious about it? Dana got played on this one just like he plays others more than not.

Sponge........let's put it this way, if a worker said "I am going to take two months off to do another job". What do you think the boss would say:shrug:

I'll tell you what he'd say......"see ya".

Also, Rampage ain't hurting for money, he's got plenty of cash.

I got no problem with guys doing "other stuff" but in this case Rampage fucked up big time. I mean UFC 107 is in Memphis because of Rampage, TUF is showing next week because of Rampage/Rashad. I just don't see how anybody could side with Rampage in this case. Guys with class like GSP, Florian, Randy would never do this, never. And trust me GSP gets tons of offers to do stuff in Canada, if he had a fight set, it would never cross is mind to say "fuck the fans", "fuck my opponent", fuck the UFC".

Does Rampage realize that if there was no UFC, he would not have even got that movie offer.

Maybe he is pissed cause they stole his title away.:142smilie I see ur point and it is a good one. By the way im not sure many would ask for two months off unless they knew the compensation was worth taking the two months off. As it is in this case.

it depends on rampage`s contract with the ufc...if there`s nothing in the contract prohibiting jackson from broadening his horizons...putting his own interests before the ufc`s...then dana is s.o.l....

sounds like this movie thing was a done deal before the proposed evans fight would have been signed...

not sure how much longer jackson will be a viable contender....what if he`s actually really good in this role?...what if hollywood takes a liking to him(as they did with say,o.j. years ago).....or fred williamson...or jim brown.....

these guys have been able to make a decent living over the years...

i think he`d be a fool to throw this opportunity away...

worse thing happens, dana gets vindictive and he joins fedor in strikeforce... he`s already been ufc champ...

The Chicago Bulls didn't seem to mind bringing back Jordan when he bailed for baseball.

Also Rampage was doing things on screen before he joined the UFC.
He was on King Of Queens when he was in Pride and was in a movie.
Rampage is Dana's boy and he will get over it.
It is not even official yet so let's wait til it is to say Rampage is not fighting Evans as scheduled.

Why doesn't kegray and Sponge bash DREAM like they bash Dana:shrug:

Dream was going to pick up Baroni but they had no idea Dana beat them to it.:142smilie

Short notice pickups are hard to do.
I see Dana throwing in crap replacement after crap replacement of late due to injuries.
Paul Daley replacing Swick is not exactly edge of my seat excitement.

really,ke?........you think a daley/swick stand-up fight doesn`t have possibilities?......

if swick was more of a pure wrestler,i`d kind of agree...but,he likes to stand..and both guys are uber aggressive...i don`t think daley`s ever been k.o.`ed....swick does have a significant height advantage,though...

if it stays on the feet,it could be fun...

And Sapp may not be good but tell me there is nothing more comical than to watch him come out and try to intimidate someone only to curl up in a ball and tap.
Always funny.
Kind of like watching Baroni get beat down everytime.
I will give credit to Dana for getting Baroni to at least amuse me.:D

I have to agree with KICKSERV here...I know all the "he could have his career ended with one punch bullshit" but he's obligated to the UFC, that's who he WORKS FOR. I think it's a complete lack of class, respect, and professionalism for Rampage to pull this stunt, especially how much the UFC---ESPECIALLY Dana went to bat for him in his legal troubles.

Also, I get tired of the cop out of fighters or anyone talking about their career is on the line, blah blah...THEN QUIT, you get paid to fight, and you know those risks going in...DUHHH

Im sure u get tired of it Bucks. You are sitting behind ur computer and not fighting. I think there might be a little difference with the two. You tell him to quit but have a problem if he does something outside of mma. Who knows maybe Rampage thought that if he loses again he loses his job like the other 100's fighters Dana cuts like it is nothing.

if he had a contract that stipulated that he couldn`t do other things if they interfered with his ufc career, then he wouldn`t be doing the movie....

otherwise,he IS NOT obligated to the ufc...
