These Affliction guys keep knocking UFC guys out no matter where they fight. Belfort, Daley, Fedor. The list goes on and on. Glad i didn't fall for that silly hype with Kapman. Swick would have knocked him out also.

I think you have to be a complete idiot to side with Rampage......let us recap shall we:

1) Dana saved his ass with that whole "truck driving incident"

2) TUF show leads into fight

3) Fight in Memphis (Rampage hometown)

4) UFC loses 22 thousand bucks by having to pull out of a "lead in show" (like they did with GSP/Penn)

5) Have to find another fight to headline

6) Had plans to counter program CBS show, but Rampage fucks that up.

7) Rampage says "fuck you" to the fans.

8) Screws over Rashad.

9) Messes up TUF show, all trash talk between Rampage and Rashad means nothing.

I now have more respect for Fedor then I do for Rampage. I like Rampage but what he did was beyond the realm of stupid. I mean shit if it were not for UFC he wouldn't be in the movie. Oh and Showdown has reported that Rampage is NOT getting much "chedder" for the role.

I hope Dana throws him out, he deserves it.

I mean shit, Dana even paid for his legal bills for that truck driving shit.

Not even Sponge can side with Rampage in this one.

What a dumb fuck, Rampage was popular and would have made a ton more money, what an idiot.

See ya Rampage:00x3

Well listening to him talk trash on the TUF 10 should be comical now at this point.
It doesn't sound like he much cares about fighting these days anyway.
I think he knows that the downside of his career is clearly coming or even begun.
Not sure why he just doesn't say I have lost my edge and desire to fight.
It is pretty clear if he is not hungry to fight Rashad that fighting is not really on his mind.
Oh well, this just opens the door for Dana to bring in Bob Sapp.

Kick maybe u should read the article again without ur Dana selective lenses. KIck i think Rampage is still steamed by the way Forrest landed a few leg kicks and they then ROBBED the title away from Rampage. In my eyes Rampage is still the Light Heavyweight title holder until someone beats him. Heck they even tried to con us into thinking that stiff Jardine had him beat till the late knockdown.

Sponge buddy....that wasn't an "article" that was a blog from Rampage. I mean if that was a blog from say Franklin, Henderson, GSP, Kenny Florian, or Randy Couture that would be one thing. But that was from Rampage, enough said. And plus if all that shit was in fact true, it still doesn't forgive Rampage for what he did. I mean if it were not for the UFC Rampage would have paid a shitload of his own money to that lady (truck incident) and might be in jail by now. Rampage is an idiot, he lost out on huge money and turned himself into a joke. What a moronic decision.

Sponge, lay off the crack you are way off.

I don't get it...

Even I think Forrest won that fight, and I don't think it was all that close, honestly....and I can't stand Forrest Griffin.

Also, I don't care what Rampage says because you can tell by how he acts on the show with his picks and matchups that he can't think straight. I'm sure Dana is at fault, but for Rampage to say he's done more for the UFC is fucking joke.

Looks like Dream is putting together a solid card in October:
http://mmajunkie.com/news/16284/dre...e-white-cage-nine-participants-introduced.mma

Eddie Alvarez, Paulo Filho, Katsunori Kikuno, Yoshiro Maeda, Andrews Nakahara, Alistair Overeem, Kiyoshi Tamura and Marius Zaromskis were all introduced as participants for DREAM.12 on the promotional video, while Murilo "Ninja" Rua was also announced via an additional promotional image on the organization's official website.

Interesting to see Overeem fighting back in Japan instead of on a Strikeforce card defending his belt.
He must have needed a little pick me up after his injury.
If you know what I mean.:142smilie

I assume you are talking about Rampage retirement.
No way is that a publicity stunt, more like a I am child and if I don't get what I want then I will pout stunt.
Rampage is not all there in the head and never has been.
How is this a publicity stunt?
It hurts the fact that everyone is already tuning in to watch TUF10 and now people are mocking what it means one week in. That is bad publicity.

UFC needs no publicity right now as they are getting plenty with every PPV.

Chuck is on Dancing with the stars which helps the images of the fighters as well.

Keg,

I agree that Rampage has a few screws loose and was merely asking the question could it be a publicity stunt ala WWF, I would hate to see the UFC go down that path.

I am curious about the comment above do you mind expanding a bit? IMHO Rampage being an idiot has nothing to do with the fighters in TUF10 other than screwing over his guys.

"the bunker"
personally,i think jackson is very good for the ufc....regardless of his shenanigans and lack of coaching acumen.....

he`s a character...you need the rampage`s and the nick diaz` and the kimbo`s to balance out the gsp`s,the fedor`s and the machida`s....

don`t get me wrong..they are all great fighters...but they`re all white bread...in other words, they`re boring....

and the ufc,in particular,is taking their product beyond just the "fighting" aspect with the "ultimate fighter" show....

guys like leben, junie browning, kimbo etc, make it all the more interesting,imo...

ying and yang...

I wasn't attacking you for asking if it was a stunt as I can see your angle. Sorry if it came off that way.
Don't think Dana is really into that crap though. I don't care for Dana but will give him credit for not making UFC some sideshow BS.

Well people are tuning into TUF that have not in the past(see ratings) in order to see what happens with Kimbo.
If Kimbo losses then the ratings will take an immediate hit.
Rampage is running his mouth off every chance he gets about how he is better than Rashad and going to destroy him and he hates Rashad.
People are saying great, what are you going to do about it once the show is over? The answer was they were gonna fight it out. Now the show is just now starting and we already know they are not gonna fight.
Everything Rampage does or says on the show means NOTHING.

Also, Dana would never scrap a main event that he already announced as a publicity stunt.
He is now scrambling to find a main event for that card.

I agree and it seems Dana is seeing that as well. I mean he didn't bring in Baroni because he thought he was serious contender. He is a character who people talk about more than an Anderson Silva or GSP.
I will email Dana and remind him Bob Sapp can still be had.:142smilie

Oh and you can take it to the bank that Dana and Rampage will makeup within a year if not sooner.
He did it with Tito and Randy plus it seems he really liked Rampage outside the business.
