Silva is not scared and too smart to play games, I don't know why so many people hate him. Please ask yourself if you would want to fight Silva, most of us realist would say F-no. The only thing Sonnen is doing is trying to convince himself he has a chance. I truly hope and believe, Sonnen rushes in for a take down and Silva just lights him up with one knee to the chin, LIGHTS OUT!

Kick - Get off your Sonnen "kick" and dont bet against the best fighter in the world. There is a reason he has fought bad competition lately and it is because people don't truly know how to beat him. If you want to do some kind of bet, go put it in your bet thread, then send me a message with what the terms are and we can wager.

FYI - for those who may not know, weigh-ins are at 7PM est today on ufc.com or one the msg boards (mma junkie). Silva will stare down Sonnen just as he did yesterday and Sonnen wont look him in the eye because he is the one who is scared.

Coach K..........Sonnen is +385. Worth a shot. And the reason so many people hate Anderson is because of what he did against Maia and Leites. Anderson isn't in the Nick Diaz or Brock Lesnar "asshole league". But he is in the top 10.

Sonnen has a great shot at winning, and as stated earlier he is smart doing his trash talk. Very smart. If Anderson dances around like a little bitch then Sonnen won't win. He needs Anderson to come forward. And the trash talk should make this happen.

Anderson is a cocky fuckhead who doesn't train that hard. If this fight goes to the 4th and 5th rounds Anderson is in deep shit. Trust me when I tell ya. The little dancing bitch Anderson will be sucking wind if this goes deep. Sure Anderson will most likely stop Sonnen early. I wouldn't be surprised at all if that happens. But Sonnen at +385 is a great bet.

Oh and Anderson is not the number one fighter on the planet.

Sonnen will try to grind down Anderson.....the "dancing bitch" better stop him in first two rounds, because if he doesn't, Anderson will actually be in a FIGHT

Bottom line if I had a gun to my head I'd be on Anderson, but the Sonnen odds are sweet. In other words, Anderson won't be able to act like a fuck-head in the cage this time, he will actually have to fight. I'll say it again, Anderson will win the 1st two rounds (or KO him), after that....look out:scared

And if you think Sonnen is scared then you are on crack, say all you want about Sonnen but he ain't scared. Wrestlers like him are not scared of a guy they are fighting.

i gotta say... a year ago i never would have even sniffed sonnen as a reasonable dog here....but the domination(and that`s what it was) of okami and marquardt show me that sonnen has seriously upped his game....and his head`s on straight...

by that i mean that after seeing soooooooo many guys fight absolutely stupid tactical fights,i give sonnen credit for knowing what he does well and imposing his style on some excellent fighters...

do i think he gets it done?...no...not really...he`s not really a finisher...and that gives silva 5 rounds to find a way to win.... and he has numerous ways to win this...

i honestly give big country the better chance vs dos santos...he actually has two ways to win vs dos santos` one....and b.c. is a smart fighter...

still, balls to the wall,do i think big country gets it done?...no..not really..dos santos` height advantage will be very difficult for roy..........but i give him a chance......he has the ability to find taller guys who have excellent stand-up using his own stand-up game(i.e. brandon schaub)....and he can set up takedowns because you can`t sleep on his stand-up...

throw in almeida/hughes and alves/fitch and few others and we have a really interesting card here....

pretty anxious to see this event...:toast:

btw...parlayed hendricks and ben saunders...never was enthused about hallman...

I was thinking the same thing as GW and Kick until I really sat down and looked at the fight. Now I really think Anderson isn't that bad of a bet(small one since he's such a big fav).

Anderson IMO is the P4P best. He can win standing or on the ground. I think he's going to make Sonnen look like the fighter he is and that's average. Ok, let's say Sonnen gets him down then what? Anderson doesn't just lay there, he elbows and punches and if you stand at all he kicks you in the face. Let's throw all that out and say he doesn't do it, more than likely he'll sub Sonnen because that's one of the big ways Sonnen likes to lose.

This fight ends and ends quickly because we'll all see how slow Sonnen looks once he's in the ring with Anderson.

Kick that is understandable, in my opinion though you are throwing away your money. It is my opinion that putting Silva in a parlay is better odds than betting on Sonnen.

Good luck with your plays!

My only play will be a parlay:
JDS -340
Fitch -115
Silva -420
Parlay +200 (1 unit to profit 2)

Fitch has the best value of anyone on the card.

i agree(i know it didn`t sound like it in my post:shrug: )....sonnen will have to rinse and repeat for 5 rounds to win...and i just don`t see that happening...

.
here is my concern with ur post. when i saw Sonnen against Nate i thought it would be an easy fight for Nate. I always thought Nate was one of the biggest 185ers i ever saw. I immediately pulled my bet when i saw Sonnen stand next to Nate. I just couldn't believe the size of Sonnen. These wrestlers who are world class like this are as strong as an ox. Im not sure many have made as much money as i have betting Silva but this is one time i am worried. I may still bet Silva but this isn't gonna be easy unless he catches him. I know Silva is good on the ground but i saw Lutter have a position on him that i know if Sonnen gets this same position, the fight is over. Getting this strong as an ox Sonnen off of u is a lot tougher than a gassed Lutter. Will i be surprised if Silva just waxes him? No way but i have way to many doubts with this fight to once again risk these odds. Sonnen is just to big and to strong to risk this bet. Just my opinion.

oh and since i am away i have to say one thing. No fighter is that dumb like Kick thinks and lets a fighter get in his head like he thinks Sonnen is with Silva :mj07: :mj07: Jesus Kick it is plan as day what Sonnen is doing. U actually think Silva is falling for this nonsense especially when his corner is telling him about it Daily. A small child should be able to see
what Chael is doing  I know im not a big believer that a lot of these fighters are :142smilie this bright but at this level Kick please. Silva must have heard people say what C Sonnen is doing 5 thousand times.

Sonnen is the #1 piece of trash in MMA. I was OK with his typical trash talk but talking shit about Lance Armstrong's cancer was pathetic. I refuse to buy this fight based on him being in it and I hope he gets destroyed.

Lots of cheers for Silva lots of boos for Sonnen.

I was wrong however, Silva didnt look at him but treated it all as fun, as the weigh in should be. Sonnen is DONE!

Record since start of 2009 37-25 +39.51 units

Opinions 3-4 +1.30(always .5 unit plays)

Fitch -105 3units

Really like Fitch a lot here so I'm going fairly big on it. I see no reason why he shouldn't win again. IMO these are two fighters that are going no where win or lose.

More than likely going to hit a parlay with Hendricks and Silva.

Maybe it's me but the Silva line seems pretty low. Sonnen is ok but I don't consider him great and I think it's going to take a great fighter to beat Anderson. If this was 3 rounds then I think Sonnen might have a better chance but the fact that Anderson gets 5 full to KO him or sub him makes me really like Anderson. Sonnen can and will get him to the ground but I'm not sure that's a very safe place for him to be. I think Anderson beats him on the ground just to prove a point. At this point I'm just trying to figure out how much to put on Anderson. We're talking about one of the top P4P fighters in the world fighting someone that is a good wrestler and that's it.

Adding

Parlay
Hendricks -360
Silva -435 risking 1unit

I should have taken Anderson earlier, it's moved out of my comfort zone. I want to add more on Fitch, especially with Alves missing weight but 3 units is enough for me to have exposed right now.

GW - in my opinion it Alves looked like he has been on a diarhea bing the last 24 hours. Supposedly he cut down to 177 yesterday so he only had 6lbs to lose today and he couldn't do it. I don't see how fitch doesn't just wear him down and GnP him to victory. He is now +105 at my book, I will probably be wagering more on Fitch.

As for Roy Nelson, his arms look like they have gotten flabier, no?

Alves will be fined 20 percent of his purse for registering a weight of 171.5 pounds.

I got no respect for Alves......again and again and again Alves misses weight.

Fuck you Alves.......can't wait for Fitch to fuck him up

Say all you want about Sonnen, at least he respects his opponent enough to make weight.

Alves is pretty much scum in my book.

How many fucking times does this guy have to miss weight.

Missing weight is the ultimate dis-respect.

Fuck you Alves....just fuck you:nono:

Complete scum....100 % scum.
