I watched the Countdown show already....I loved the part where Jones signs his autographs "2011 Champ".

I liked that:)

Rua has losses to Coleman and Forrest.

Jones has never lost (DQ in a fight he was dominating).

The line is set appropriately.

Lines are set to draw action on each side.

At even money, players would have piled on Bones.

At -200, you still get the Jones supporters, and Rua supporters jump on the plus number.

Correct line in a very high profile bout, IMO.

For the record. Shogun fought Forrest with a torn ACL, and IMO, won the 1st round doing so. He just gassed cuz he couldn't train. He didn't fight Forrest after his ACL surgery. Idk if we can take you serious because you can't even get simple facts straight. He fought Coleman the 2nd time after the surgery.

He didn't lose to Coleman. That's like saying Jones lost to Hammil. Coleman went for a takedown, Shogun tripped and when stopping his fall, he broke his arm on the landing so the fight was stopped.

He got screwed in the 1st Machida fight. So Babalu is his only legitimate loss in my eyes. And that was a fight that was at the very beginning of his career.

truthfully i haven`t even wagered on this fight yet...i`m still sick about marquardt/sexiyama getting cancelled....but,considering why it was cancelled, well, nothing more needs to be said...just horrible .....

tito pulling out was the second part of the marquardt parlay that i`m utterly distraught over...he wasn`t beating lil nog....he`s done...

but judging by all the rua love,i wouldn`t be the least bit shocked to see this line hit -150 or lower...and then i just couldn`t turn it down...

i see another fight along similar lines in davis/lil nog...has some similarities to rua/jones...young,black,inexperienced rangy uber athletic guys with some wrestling pedigree fighting heralded brazilian pride vets...

so the two biggest wagering opportunities are gone....

oh well........may just pass this weekend.....

It's all good BUCS. All good baby.

For the record, it's take you "seriously". You don't take someone "serious". You take someone "seriously".

I haven't taken you "seriously" since you picked Matuskeynko over Jones.

"gimme Vlady, thank me later. i know i'll probably be the ONLY one on him." I believe that was the quote.

I might not be able to get "simple facts straight", but I do alright in this game. Trust me.

Not sure who is going to win this fight, but really looking forward to it. My guess is Jones.

jones hasn't even mastered the basics of striking and yet he frequently attempts unorthodox moves. so far it hasn't cost him. hopefully, rua can take advantage.

Dana is currently tracking down kegray, weepaul and GW for his UFC 128 blog. It takes time to get those three together.

Sponge, I love that video. Rua's right kick off of his punches comes out as quick and solid as anyone in mma. One problem I see is Rua likes to leave his lead leg up quite a big and that's not smart vs Jones.

I am starting to lean towards Rua. I think he feels extremely confident after the Machida KO and is ready to take it to this kid. Jon is going to get some shots in,but what happens when that iron headed Brazilian keeps bringing the straight punches and starts connecting? Jon's legs are going to be a target. How will he handle taking Rua's kicks?

I am not sure about Jones stamina. He was pretty tired in round 3 against Bonnar. However if his stamina is good enough he can win easily by take Rua to the ground over and over. I really doubt Rua can stop the TD's.
