It's all good BUCS. All good baby.

For the record, it's take you "seriously". You don't take someone "serious". You take someone "seriously".

I haven't taken you "seriously" since you picked Matuskeynko over Jones.

"gimme Vlady, thank me later. i know i'll probably be the ONLY one on him." I believe that was the quote.

I might not be able to get "simple facts straight", but I do alright in this game. Trust me.

Not sure who is going to win this fight, but really looking forward to it. My guess is Jones.

thanks for proving my point. can't even consider having an argument when you can't get simple facts right.

go on to another sport, you've already tarnished this one enough...

I am not sure about Jones stamina. He was pretty tired in round 3 against Bonnar. However if his stamina is good enough he can win easily by take Rua to the ground over and over. I really doubt Rua can stop the TD's.

Interesting stat I heard today.

Jones successful with 70% of his takedowns during his UFC tenure.

Rua has stopped 2 out of 14 takedown attempts in his UFC bouts.

Of course, this includes The 2 takedowns by Machida in the last bout, where Rua immediately popped back to his feet and smashed Lyoto.

Problem here for Rua - Jones, on top, ain't Machida.

I think Rua's best chance is pushing the pace, focusing on leg kicks, keeping Jones honest and hesitant on the feet.

If he can't keep upright, the majority of this bout may be Rua on his back, defending subs and elbows.

I warned ya Ghost:facepalm: :142smilie

I shouldn't even give my thoughts - I've tarnished the entire sport of MMA with my previous posts.

I'm a rotten, ignorant bastard with no knowledge of or respect for "Fighting UFC".

You and me bro :00hour

I was said to "stick to boxing" first time I offered MMA opinion. Weepaul was in the same boat as me because he dared to see some fight developing the same way as me.

i had forgotten that jones tired in the 3rd vs bonnar....

both guys have had moments in their careers in which they gassed.....you can blame jones` on the fact that he was 21 and very inexperienced at the time(not sure i buy it...sometimes guys just don`t have great cardio and you can`t change that to any great extent)...or the fact that rua was allegedly fighting injured(vs forrest...he also gassed quite a bit vs coleman....luckliy for him, coleman was older than dirt)....

a long fight will be very tough to figure...

Money coming in on Shogun now and has been since the early rise. My bet on Shogun is at +175. If Jones gets down to 155(doubt it will) I might hedge some of my 7 units. I love the play and think it's the right side but locking in a no lose situation is what it's all about.

Shogun is like a hitting a lead pipe but i don't know how he is gonna get up once he gets taken down by Jones. Shogun has to try some submissions or hope this gets stood up a lot but Jones is busy when he is on top. this isn't Machida taking him down this is Jones.

i wouldn't look past the possibility of a sub win for rua. ghostkid points out that rua only has 1 sub win, while having many soccer kick/stomp wins. with chuteboxes love for violence it makes sense that he would take full advantage of striking opportunities. however, on the occasion that he used his grappling it appeared very good, for example, against adcc champ arona, he secured a reversal with an omoplata. against griffin his grappling was poor, but as already mentioned he wasn?t ready for that fight due to his injured knee. he also got married 3 weeks before the fight.

add on to that jones? having never really faced a sub threat, coupled with his leaving an arm out vs vera, along with his long legs and arms and the likelihood that jones will want it to be a ground fight.

I told a friend I thought a leg lock was a real possibility. Rua loves them, uses them to get out of bad spots, and with Jones long legs they'll be a good chance he'll leave one open.

I really think Jones has a long way to go. In his fight vs (I believe it was) Vera he was in guard and he left his arm across the body on several occasions. My two friends with me that train in BJJ were both screaming for Vera to grab. I think he may have already been too hurt to do anything.

wow nice pay day

i might throw a case of beer on that....maybe if it goes rounds and both guys gas,a sub might just be a possibility....

i`ll be shocked if it resembles rua/machida 1...i`m expecting a better paced fight...

If Rua wins I think it is by submission, most likely a heel hook/ leglock. Also against Vera, Bones was putting his arm out there to be caught but Vera did not go for it - maybe because of the strength of Jones. Rua is those opportunity's are given to him will take them
