Very nice card to watch but extremely hard for me to bet on.

Overall 49-37 +41.04

Opinions 17-17 +3.25(always .5 unit)

Schaub -250 1 unit

Opinion

Okami +420 .5unit

I think Schaub is the best bet on the board even as a big fav. I just can't see Nog being able to handle the athleticism of Schaub after two hip surgeries. Hopefully Schaub will fight smart, if he does I think it's an easy win.

The Okami play is strictly a value play. IF he fights a mistake free fight he can win. Not sure he can but for the money I'll take a shot.

Noguiera looks huge, best shape I've seen him in for awhile. I saw on the video blog him telling Dana this is the first time since 2008 he's trained pain free, and he had 4 months to train.

I think there's serious value in Noguiera for the fact that he's gotta KO Nogueira. If he tries to close the distance or doesn't stay technical, the fight is going to the ground. With Nog on his back, or on top, Schaub could be in serious trouble. I just don't see Schaub winning any other way. We really don't think this fight goes to the judges do we? I think at some point we see this fight on the ground, somehow...

Silva appears to be the bigger of the 2, and has a 5 1/2 inch reach advantage. Okami is gonna have a tough time getting this to the ground. I see utter destruction. Hopefully so people can stop uttering the stupid comments "last person to beat Anderson Silva"...it's like saying Mark Coleman beat Shogun in the first fight

I heard he rushed his rehab so he could appear on the card

Did you see the live training session? He looked like total shit, slow as hell. You better hope he was sandbagging.

I think at some point we see this fight on the ground, somehow...

I think we see nog layed out on the ground. That's why I have some action on Schaub KOTN and quickest KO. Just a little bit of the same on Silva.

Only other fight that scares me as far as KO's is Luis Cane, so I might put a tiny sprinkle down on that as well.

Shogun is also a candidate, I think he will probably win, but forrest's main goal here will not get ktfo. I think he has a little motivation in that regard because all the Brazilians people think he is a clown after getting ko'd by silva in such a manner. No action for me on this fight.

I think Schaubs power is overrated. Specifically his boxing skills. Nogueira trains with the best striker technically in MMA, I think he's going to be well prepared. He also looked super nervous in the weigh ins. His arms were shaking during the staredown. He also reacted to the crowd booing him.

This was in the final minutes of the 3rd round too

How is he going to be well prepared if he rushed his rehab

I don't put too much stock in any of that stuff. If you did, Nog wasn't even able to find the scale, what does that say about his reflexes

Bucks i think we are the only guys on the Planet taking BIg nog. As i said earlier this is an anti Schaub play. You think he was the next coming of Fedor when u read this board :mj07:

You posted a video of Cro Cop getting KOd....I'm not really sure what that proves? lol

I put a lot of stock on how a fighter reacts to the crowed. It's called nerves. You're not calm and technical like you should be. In a fight against Nogueira, you better be technical. Nogueira found the scale fine. You must be blind...he thought they were gonna do the face off first and forgot to weigh in. It was like a split second delay.

A few things about the weigh in. I thought Forest looked great. He looked a little more lean then im use to. He looks like he has the gas tank which is not good for Shogun. I could see this go three with Forest taken this cause he gassed Shogun but Shogun get that home cooking decision. Shogun also looked better then im use to seeing him. Im taking a shot on Big nog. I thought he looked good in the weigh in and he say's he is 100 percent which means shit cause they all are 100 percent. Just don't think Schaub and that big mouth are as good as the words that come out it. Who cares if he beat a terribly washed up Mirko. A Mirko who's head has been soften up by that kick Gonzaga delivered a few years ago. This isn't a big play. He can get laid out and retire after this but i think he is crafty enuf to get this done.

I like Schaub, I actually think he has potential. But I think he has a lot of holes that Nogueira can take advantage of. Everyone on here acts like Nogueira is gonna try and exchange with him for 15minutes

It proves he has devastating one punch KO power even when tired at the end of a fight

Shogun also looked better then im use to seeing him.

I have to agree here. It looks like he is alot more cut, and dropped some of the fat off his mid section that he usually carries.

Well they may have a point. In his last 6 fights i say he did this exact thing :mj07: Heath Herring almost kneed his head into the six row. Timmy Silvia never had to worry until the end. Hopefully NOg has learned from this but i haven't notice it yet. Sometimes these MMA fighters skulls are a bit thick.

Well if i bet Shogun i would hope to god this doesn't get in the third round or he is in a world of trouble. it is either a Shogun knockout or Forrest wears him down. The decision who knows.

IX_Bender that question always brings up a debate, some books have it one way, some have it another.

There really shouldn't be a debate. Basic math states that Over 2.5 rounds is 2 minutes and 31 seconds of the 3rd round.

Check the book rules.

Or to be safe..........."will start the third round" prop is crystal clear.
