She argued every throw, she held up the game by making late bets. Once when a shooter was throwing she was trying to make a late bet and actually hit the shooters hand.
My question is why wasn't she removed? Was it because she had so much money and was losing? It made no sense to me.
Good question StevieD ...... my observations have been that almost anything goes at the Craps table as most disruptions only effect the customers and eventually help the house
I was at Caesar's in Vegas a few Sunday's ago when 2 Brothers approached the table with a wad of $$$ in hand .......... now let me preface to say that Caesar's is probably the #1 most elite crap tables in Vegas with the deepest pocket customers .... 7 tables with Minimum bets tables ranging mostly from $25 to $50 and $100 and it is not uncommon to see a Minimum bet $500 table either ..... rarely does a table ever drop to $15 except maybe at 7:00 AM
Anyway - these 2 Brothers with their low-waisted shorts & tall statures were more suited for the Harlem street basketball courts & looked out of place among the Golf shirts and Rolex watches .... their MO was to walk around the 7 tables until they found someone shooting with the 4 or 10 as a point ....... they would then Lay the Point for $1,000. and start leaning over the table where the dice were being thrown with their remaining cash held out in plain view of the shooter ........ then they would start trash talking the shooter:
"Come on shooter - you are not good enough to make that point !! ... Where is the 7 .... throw a 7 for me !!"
the dealers would tell them to raise their hands out of the way of the dice and they would comply each time for only a split second or two for the dice to land before they started putting their hands & $$$ back in the way before the shooter would toss again
For 5 hours I saw them win about 90% of their bets ....... they trash talked me 3 times & "beat" me 2 out of the 3 times ...... the 1 time I made my Point and knocked off their Lay bet I received a loud applause from the other players & Dealers ....... No one liked them including the Dealers as Caesars' Dealers are probably best at taking care of their customers as they almost always earn their big tips .......... However, there was nothing they could do to stop this intrusion on the tables except apologize to their high rollers .......
One nice Caesars' Afro-American Dealer lady that usually kids me about my Harley and is always asking when I am going to take her for "a ride" gave those Brothers the
"Look" as they would walk up to the table and stick their nose in to see if the 4 or 10 were the Point ....... one Brother even said "You know I am just being nosy" as he responded to that
Look and she snapped back with a hateful tone but restrained in that polite Caesars' Dealer way: "Yes, YOU SURE ARE BEING NOSY TODAY"
...... on a separate note, a few weeks later a Caesar's customer was playing the Don'ts and colored up for $1.5 million ...... I did not see it and I am not sure what he bought in for but word is he made $1.2 million just playing the Don'ts ....... based on what I see at Caesars most of the time, maybe the Dark side is the best way to go @ Caesars
