C-Note. I think you are missing the big advantage of the Come bet by not having the bet alive for the 7. Also, I think you would be better off placing a bet until you reach the $30 mark versus playing say 5 come and $20 odds.

Harley: Wanted to bump your thread up and see how you're rolling!

I am going to be in Vegas for a couple of days (November 29-December 2) with some clients, but I will probably be able to sneak away for some Craps action. Staying at the Rio, any word on their tables?

Also, never saw a reply on the Tunica action. Haven't been there myself, but would love to go sometime.

Hope all is Well!

Craps is probably one of my favorite casino games to play. Good odds + the most 'exciting' to play with others makes this my choice.

What are the best odds exactly that a casino has on craps?

This really was a great thread. I hope to be at Mohegan Sun tonight and maybe visit The Woods.
I only play craps. Trying to come up with a system because I feel they are cheating. I am seeing much more outside and crap numbers than 6's and 8'8. Going to try to take advantage of that.

I assume you mean "which plays in craps does the player have the best odds against the casino?" (i.e. which method will you lose your money the slowest)

That would be pass/no pass line with house odds of 1.4%

but if you feel frisky, you can sometimes spot a player who is not taking his free odds, and ask him if he will let you put down your chips in place of the free odds he didn't take. Many boxmen will let you do this. It cuts the house odds to even, a 50-50 proposition.

For super craps action, go to the California Casino downtown when the "Golden Arm Club" has it's annual gathering (in May, I think). Hundreds of crazy shooters show up for this (most polynesian men, this being the Cal) and time I saw it was 5 people deep at the many craps tables they have.

If you control the dice for at least one hour at the Cal, you can join the club and get a plaque with your name on it on the "Golden Arm" Wall of Fame.

It is named after the late Mr. Stanley "Golden Arm" Fujitake and his record-setting 3 hour, 6 minute roll in 1989. In that famous roll, he produced 18 pass line wins with 118 rolls of the dice--he started with a $5 bet on the pass line and eventually reached the $1000 table limit. Article here. They have a nice display at the Cal about Stanley.

Hey Stevie how are you?
I am originally from Canton Mass and moved to Florida at the age of 30. I love craps. I go to Vegas everyyear for the last 15 years to play in a hockey tournament. All I do is sports bet and play craps. Well last year I took Harley's advice and went to the dice coach out there and spent the afternoon with him. Opens up a whole new look Steve. I thought I knew the game before but now I really know the game. I never thought I would be practicing throwing dice and setting the dice before I went to play for money but it makes sense. Sorry to be so long here. Harley is the man

Nice to meet you Cavy1. You sound a lot like me. I never went to the Dice Coach but I have done a lot of reading. I practice my throws too! I have not been to Vegas in a few years because of family problems but I do escape to The Woods and Mohegan a couple of times a month. I only play craps also. Been doing pretty good lately and a lot of the reason why is because of Harley.

I go to Foxwoods with my nephew every year when I come to Boston. Do ok win some lose some
haven't tried the woods since learning from the dice coach.
Quick story
It is Sunday night and I am at Ballys. It 6:00 and I have 30 minutes to kill before heading to the airport. I always stay at Ballys for the sportsbook. I have never won a dime playing craps at Ballys. I usually walk right by the tables and go to the Paris to shoot craps. I am standing watching the table and I jump in. I see this guy down at the end of the table cleaning up on the don't pass. I start laughing when the dice come to me and I say to myself looking at this guy - hang on mother ****er we are going for a ride. Dice coach showed me how to throw sevens. I rolled 8 7's in a row. Each time this guy was putting more down. So he finally backed off. Then when the point was established he went on the don't comes. Bang got him again. Then made the point. Finally had this guy playing the pass line as we made about 4 or 5 points and he was happy. Good times at the crap table that's all good times.
