Unbeaten WBC middleweight champion Sebastian Zbik of Germany and #1 contender Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., Culiacan, Mexico pose during today?s weigh-in (Zbik 158.8 lb, Chavez Jr 160 lb) at Staples Center in Los Angeles for their upcoming WBC title fight.

Other weights
Mikey Garcia 127 vs. Rafael Guzman 125.8
Saul Roman 153 vs Vanes Martirosyan 153.4
Dakota Stone 149 vs Christy Martin 149.8

Only wish junior legend would have come in a few ounces under as that stupid tough guy look is pitiful. He needs a haircut also. I still parlayed little legend and Caveman. Arum=anything can happen.

i had that done before, damn after the doc flushed all the wax

i could really hear lol

the wax is good if you want some hearing protection

You and weepaul should come to Vegas as a stand up comedy duo. You could start at Poker Palace and move up to the Western. If anyone has been to either of those joints, you get my drift!

Well it's hard to tell when you are serious. If money is involved, then I know, but as for the other times...

Teddy Atlas backing Froch
Kiss of death

:mj07:

My opinion is that Froch takes this tomorrow by wide UD
Johnson is my man - he has won me money numerous times

But Allan Green is a piece of crap - that win means nothing

Froch has won me over with his performances in this tournament
Guys that give Froch trouble are guys with speed (Dirrell, Taylor)

Glen doesn't punch fast enough to worry Froch here
He is nearly impossible to KO, but he is throwing less punches these days (Cloud actually wobbled him down the stretch)

I like the Cobra on points

Jhonson-Torres fight goes over. Torres a tough survivor. Good chin and keeps his hands high. Inactive for two years, I thought Jhonson's speed would be too much. Jhonson landing some hard shots, but he fights very measured. Highly skilled but pretty boring. I'm not sure Torres has landed a clean punch all night. Looks to go the route.

Easy win for Jhonson

I mean take a look at these pictures. Who's gonna win this fight?

Rees, the ugly little pug, loves to fight I'm sure of it. I bet he even appreciates the occasional punch in the face.

Murray looks like the whiny friend - Cameron I think it was - from Ferris Bueller's Day Off for cryin' out loud.

I've got a learning disability with pasting pictures but here's proof: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdcFYNe9U7A

On a serious capping note, Cameron is pretty green. The young lad is heading into Rees' hostile and hometown Welsh territory. Rees fight's with a lot of energy. Too much of a step up for Cameron.

Solid play, and some parlay interests with Gavin Rees.

kessler3.jpg

WBC Super Middleweight World Champion Emeritus Mikkel Kessler weighed in at 166.4 for his SHOWTIME-televised clash on Saturday night in Copenhagen against Mehdi Bouadla, who weighed 166.

I'm making a second solid play tomorrow mid-day - the OVER 7.5 in the Kessler-Bouadla fight. Bought it at -155.

Bouadla has never been out, or to my knowledge down. He's thick and strong - from what I can tell a rugged sob. I was looking at him pretty closely when he was scheduled against Sylvester. I thought he had a surprise chance there. Against bigger, world-class Kessler in Denmark, too many obstacles to overcome.

Bouadla is underrated though, and I think will give tougher than expected resistance. Kessler has feasted off of 2nd tier opponents, usually dispatching them. I think though, off for a year - big 'comeback' and all - Kessler will fight at a measured pace.

I hope Evan's '10 or 12 dreary rounds' is right.

7.5 not too deep. I think Bouadla fights hard past this point.
