Anyone know who the ref will be? I'll say this, if it's Bayless, bet the OVER as he will break guys up if one hits the other too hard. He is way too intrusive a ref and a meddler in the ring. If it's Smoger, take the UNDER.

Yeah, but Smoger will let fights go until a guy is half dead. "You still breathing? Alright go get him?"

I had mucho $$$$ on Pavlik-Taylor. Had Smoger not given Pavlik a chance I woild have been demolished. Bayless should ref chess matches.

Yeah,I had Pavlik, too. I like Smoger. Perhaps I was embellishing a tad but he will give a guy a chance for better or worse. Overall he is a quality ref. I might have been thinking of Arthur Mercante Jr. who does have some blood on his hands.

Mercante Sr. was the creme de la creme of refs. Old school and knew his stuff inside and out. The son is good but can be shaky at times. I'm betting the over 9.5 as Bayless once stopped a fight because one fighter gave the other a "mean" look and Bayless felt he was in grave danger!:mj07:

My mistake; it's just his gigantic head that is out of proportion. If he head butts Cotto he will fracture his skull.

"After Pacman?s fight with Cotto on Saturday night, he will head over to the Mandalay Bay Events Center to perform a live post-fight concert with his MP Band. Pacquiao has already had two albums go Platinum in the Philippines. PacMan and the MP Band played a similar gig at the Beach at Mandalay Bay following his two-round knockout victory of defending junior welterweight champion Ricky Hatton last May. Remaining tickets, priced at $40, to Manny Pacquiao and the MP Band Concert, can be purchased at any Mandalay Bay box office outlet. Doors open at 10 p.m. PT with the concert ending at 1:00 a.m."

Kiss of death.....get your Cotto money down....this is worse than sunglasses or a giant gorilla mask....

The fine print on those tickets probably says that in the event Pacquiao loses please don't come because no on will be here.

Pac is a good champ but this smells of arrogance to me. I don't like it one bit. I hope Cotto sings him a fuking lullabye.
